How frequently do you use mylot codes?

I use them almost in every discussion or response. Not only do they make the post lively, it also shows the real emotion of the sender. I mean, sometimes its difficult to understand the tone in which a post has been sent. It tends to sound rude when the sender doesn't really mean to be rude or anything. A smilimg my lot code next to it would show the real intention with which the post has been sent.

I use them often as well, especially when I feel like my post will be misunderstood by whoevers gonna read it. I mean, like what you said, some people might think that its rude...so I put on a smiling face, to let people know that I'm being nice.

I would use them depending on the nature of the discussion. If the discussion is something of a serious nature then i would avoid using it. On the other hand if the discussions were light hearted then i tend to use them a lot. Happy mylotting.

I actually use them when I have the time, or when I'm still pondering as to what I'm going to type or respond or comment to a discussion. As far as I'm concerned, there are times when I forget that they even exist. but they actually make a post prettier and more expressive. They're great, sadly you could only use 3 at the maximum.

Hello! I do not use myLot codes in every post of mine. However, I do make use of them sometimes, when I feel that they are necessary or could add a more friendly face to my response. As you said, sometimes the response may sound rude, when actually it is not supposed to be. That's where a or a comes in. They will make it much better for those who are going to read. That's the power of a smile, even in emoticons being able to change the whole concept of a response. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I just went to try to use them in this response but I got a message say that I can't use them until I have reached a rank of 200. What i really want is to reach 500, so that I can cut and paste.

I often use smileys. I put them most of my responses and discussions. Your were right when you said that smileys make the post more lively and we can show our emotions using those different smileys who represents our emotions. Happy posting.. Have a nice day..

I was wondering what that mylot code meant. I am still a newbie and I am learning the tips and tricks of this site. I love learning new things online and it makes me feel good too. Thanks Hey i just tryed to use the code and it says that I have to reach 200 post first, that might be a reason why? Hmmm.... thats a bummer :(

I use mylost codes quite often. I do agree with you that mylot codes make the discussion even more livelier and interesting. The most used code is 'smiling' face. I believe that a 'smiling face' conveys a lot and the next in line is LOL, which makes all of us laught, instantly. It is wonderful on the part of mylot people to allow us to use codes, however, I would like to request them that they should remove the restriction of using only three codes from one post, we should be allowed to use atleast 5-6 codes at a time.

Hello shar_25! Speaking of these myLot codes, I use them in almost every discussion I make. It adds emotions and feelings along with the words as the reader reads it. That way, the feeling is also embedded within the discussion. Yes, I agree that the tone of the post is hardly seen just by the words. Sometimes, a post might sound rude when you read it but it was not intended to be. I have read many discussions like that here in myLot. Also, when I want to emphasize something in the words, I put it in bold. Or if its a quotation from somewhere, I use italics. It also adds some design when you look at it.

i love to use the mylot codes.i wish there were more ane we were permitted to use more than three. They shoud remove the restriction of just three codes. it makes the post more interesting. Sometimes when i am in a hurry i forget to insert the codes but normally i love to use them.

I have seen the mylot codes but unfortunately I haven't tried using it yet since I still have to make 200 posts. I think I was able to reach it already yesterday but my posts haven't updated yet. I'm excited to use this emoticons to give more life to my responses and discussions right?
