Do yOU WeaR eYEs GlassES wHILE rEADing?

I don't have to glasses now for any reason but may have to get one if I continue sitting in front of the computer at this rate!..Presently its 6/6 Have a nice day!

Hey okwusman1 Though I hate wearing specs but I am forced to wear spec due to visionary problem. I use spec only for reading newspapers and books . For others I do not use spect. pkc3000

I don't uses glasses when reading but use them when I look at a distance objects. I am short sighted.

Yes I wear eye glasses when reading. I hate it too I am not used to eye glasses and they slide down on my nose, I look up and I can't see good with them on. I forget where they are when I need them. That is why I don't read as much as I use too.

I use them. In fact for so many years I have been doing that. I can even sleep wearing glasses. If you really get headache, it means you do not have real problem. Also, it is possible your glass power is not matching with your requirement.

It's not necessary for me to read with glasses. Usually I will wear glasses when I am watching TV. My eyesight is still OK to read the books. I love China

I wear contact lenses because I am far-sighted but need reading glasses, unless I am in very strong, bright light. If you get the high-spectrum light bulbs (look on mercola.com), it helps to read with no glasses. I can!

No I don't. But I might need them at the rate I'm reading and working on the computer a lot. I have all these deadlines to meet on writing that I have set for myself...But I'm not compaining,I'm enjoying it and loving every minute of it. Merry Christmas.

Yes I wear glasses while reading as I cannot see to read without them. I am getting old and while I had perfect eyesight for most of my life your eyes just get old and you either wear glasses or give up reading. I did not like glasses either so I gave up reading for years. Now I am enjoying reading again. If your glasses are giving you headaches then they are too strong and you need to have your eyes properly tested by an optometrist. You should only wear glasses for reading that have been designed for reading. In a proper eye test they test for how your eyesight works at different distances. I only need glasses for reading. Some people need different glasses for reading and driving etc. If you wear the wrong glasses for the wrong task you will get eye strain and that will give you headaches.

If your prescription is correct and the frames fitted to your face, glasses should relieve a headache instead of causing it. I'd say that something is wrong.
