Hi mimpi 1911! Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you my dearest friend! My idea of a perfect Christmas is having all my love ones together and that we will be sharing the food that we have prepared and lots of merry making and laughter and singing.

Mou, You mailed me, you replied this topic and and.. so i am sure that you will be penning in AC in a short time.
And friend,of late i am very much involved in stock trading, and i spent a lot of time in gathering knowledge and keeping me updated with the latest developments in the our/International markets, and so Mimpi.. i may not be coming to AC now, even otherwise, if have time in plenty.. i don't think that i am of that caliber in writing in a place where there are great stalwarts.. really i mean Mimpi.

Heya! A perfect Christmas for me is a complete family.^_^ Our own family (Dad, Mom, me, pets, and helpers) shared dinner together. Its traditionally on the eve of Christmas day or an hour or two before the official Christmas day but we had ours early tonight. Then an even more perfect Christmas would be if the whole extended family is complete tomorrow at our Grandma's house.
Im not really sure if thats possible cause I know that one of our cousins might be away on a study review. Hopefully he makes it tomorrow..^_^

So it starts today evening, great! Is it just kinda feast or some rituals are there as well? Tell me more about it. And yes, nothing like having the family with you on such occasions. It feels complete. And tell me about your pet also.
BTW, did you straighten your hair? I did not, my mom told me taht i already have pretty much straight hair and ironing might harm it. But I will , may be next year.

It is just some kind of feast with lots of food, hehehe
We have 2 dogs. One is 2 years old (was born on our garage^_^) and the other was a puppy. Mom received it as a gift from a friend for Christmas.
Nop, not yet anyway.^_^ Im gonna have to agree with your Mom, but if you really want to, why not right? A new year is coming, time to try out new things at least once.

Yes, mimpi, all those things. Most importantly for me, the perfect Christmas is one where family and friends share the warmth of the season, and each others' company. I am happiest when my house is full of people, having a nice, relaxed day, for one day.

mimpi, we had a wonderful day, yesterday. My kids were here, my daughter's boyfriend came with his 19 month old daughter. She kept us all quite entertained. I have missed having small children in my house at this time of year. One part of Christmas is all about the kids, and it was nice to have one here, again. The other part is, even with the economy the way it is, me quitting my job in June, and it being a slim Christmas, we still all had a wonderful time with family and friends. Our neighbors stopped by and had dinner with us, and we just all sat around talking, laughing, and having a good day.

Hi dear, Merry Christmas to you! Been a long time since i login myLot. Well, seeing that i couldnt have a white Christmas at Singapore, i will say that perfect Christmas will be a day spend with loved ones, family members, listening to Christmas carols all day long and of course, not forgetting the gift exchange part hehe..it has been a very good Christmas with loads of presents...and of course, this is the first Christmas me n hubby spend together as husband and wife :)

For me it has very little to do with all the bells and whistles such as decorated trees and carols and all that stuff. As long as I am with those that I love and have some good food and merriment all around me then I am easily satisfied! Happy Christmas and New Year to you too my friend!

Nothing like having the family and loved around around and we really feel the need to be together around this time. It makes it most special. What are your plans James? And is Cjay still playing with the new phone? Tell her to give some rest to the fingers and she better does some friendlotting .

A perfect Christmas for me would be visit friends,share the spirit of Christmas with them and spend a whole lot of time with family and loved ones enjoying the goodies, the cakes and having a jolly time.
Itr happens to be christmas today and while i was driving happened to notice some destitute kids on the road and feel that i should do something for them to make their christmas special for them too.

Hi Mimpi,
My idea of a perfect Christmas? One where everyone is happy. That's it. It doesn't matter to me how many lights are twinkling or how many gifts are given or received. The kind or amount of food isn't important. But, seeing a smile on everyone's face is what makes Christmas Christmas for me.
I like the fact that wars are halted temporarily. There's a kind of spiritual charm that seems to fall over the Earth and I love that! I wish we could have Christmas Day 365 days of the year (366 on leap year, naturally)!
Of course, I do like seeing the decorations, the traditional foods, gifts piled under the tree, carols, etc. But, even if they weren't there, just the feeling that happens on Christmas day around the world is enough to make me happy.
I hope you, too, have a very Merry Christmas and a terrific New Year!
