I love shrimp, dungenous crab, lobster and sometimes oysters. I love the sweet taste of these and am not familiar with alot of the ones you mentioned. I love salmon and trout as well. Those would probably be my favorites because they are cheaper and more available where i live.

the most items which are available in chinese supermarkets are very cheap, salmon and trout are not popular here,as they are too expensive, they are imported from other countries, seems they are very popular in your side and they are not so expensive as you said.By the way,do you usually eat seafood from China?Such as white shrimp, crayfish tailmeat, catfish fillets and tilapia?

I like shrimp or prawn, crabs that are small and big ones, i also like clams or shells like tahong and tulya as we call it in our country. I also like to eat a salad which my mom use to make which is a seaweed garnished with tomato, onion, kalamansi and some chili. I also like to eat squid. I use to cook it like adobo and sometimes fry it , and we use to call it calamares. But not to forget fishes. I like Tilapia a lot and Milk fish. I like fried Tilapia and steamed and grilled Milk fish. We like to dip it in fish sauce or sometimes on bagoong isda with tomato, onion, kalamansi as a dip.

it seems you are live in a seafood city, you enjoy so many kinds of seafood, shrimps and prawns are popular in almost all of the countries,i just know a very simple cook method for shrimps and prawns,i just put it into boiling water and then prepare some sauces for dipping them. But i saw many pics on internet, there are many colorful items together with shrimps in a dish(i don't know what they are^_^),seems very yummy. For squid,i heard it has too much fat, will make ppl fat, don't know it is true or not. Is there Tilapia in your area?Is it imported from China or somewhere else?We have many Tilapia farms here, and we export a lot of Tilapia to EU and USA every year.I am interested in tilapia fillets, and will try to find a new cook method for it,hehe...

Well, my favorite seafood I think is shrimp. I steam them with Old Bay seasoning... yummy! My second favorite is probably tunafish simply because it comes in a can already cooked and is so easy to prepare! I adore tuna salad! Tuna doesn't like me much, though... it gives me a headache every time I eat it but not enough to stop me! I love to go fishing and my favorite fish to catch and eat is rainbow trout. I bake them with lemon-pepper seasoning. Their flavor is so light and delicious!

Hi there. I absolutely love seafoods, especially crabs and shrimps cooked in chili sauce. Yum~! I'm actually a fan of restaurants wherein you could choose to buy fresh seafood (or you could let the restaurant's staff do the marketing for you) and have them cook such seafood anyway you like. Of course, it's quite pricey, all things considered, but it's definitely worth it. I'm not that much a fan of fish, though.

Sizzling Squid - I love squid! The one who never ate human flesh yet lol!
I love squid so much! I love it any way it is cooked like sizzling, dried and fried, sauteed. Just about anything. I like it because unlike shrimps and crabs, they're easier to eat because it has no hard shells. In our country, dried squid is available and they're perfect for breakfast when put together with fried rice.

hi modstar,i also eat drid squid sometimes,as it is also popular in our country,we can buy it from supermarket in retail bags, but i like frozen squid more,as it could be cooked with some veg together and it tastes very good. i never tried dried squid with fried rice together, how is could be?

We usually just eat fish and shrimps. I personally dont like fish, but i love shrimps more than anything. We usually only eat fried fish and shrimps we eat with rice. We have a dish known as Pulao which is rice and usually chicken or beef. But we cook it with shrimps. The recipe to cook is that we first boil the rice and shrimp separately and then we make rice in the water in which we boiled the shrimps. Other things used in it is chili powder and onion mainly. I dont know the exact recipe because i dont make this, but i saw once my mom coking it. I am away from my parents in a foreign country for my studies and i hope i will meet them soon to eat that yummy food which my mom cook.

I like seafoods. I like eating crabs, fish, shrimps, lobsters and anything that is seafood. I like seafood instead eating chicken, pork or beef. I don't know why but I find it delicious. Even my wife likes to eat seafood. Most people who likes seafood are those who grew up near the sea but I grew up in the city not near the sea. I think that's a weird thing about me.

i also live far from sea,i'm thinking that some day i could fish on the sea by myself, hope this will come true in the short future, then i could eat seafoods with much freshness LOL...

I love fish.... That is my ultimate favorite in all seafoods. others I can live without but not fish. That today since Christmas is over and ofcourse a lot of sweets and meat had been eaten this Christmas day so....I carve for fish today. I was thinking of what kind of fish to buy and how to cook it. But unfortunately I was not able to since we went to a friends house. But when we get there our friends haven't eaten yet.... so I've got the suggestion and they like my suggestion and yes, we have fish and other seafoods for dinner. Isn't eat great having what you like even you thought it was hopeless to have it.

Shrimp is probably my all time favorite. Dungeoness Crab holds a high second and then lobster. All have such a sweet, delicious flavor. I could eat these and salmon every week for many months and never get tired of them. And, as you have said they are an important source of protein.

I usually like prawns (shrimps) and crabs. Not so much fish, except for salmon (grilled) and cod (steamed). I would often steam shrimps and eat with chilli sauce; or lightly stir-fried with chilli sauce or mixed vegetables or eggs. As to crabs, we usually eat these at restaurants - my favorite is crabs cooked with salted egg yolk.

I love crabs and shrimp. You can cook them easily. If you clean them already just put soda (sprite) and boil them when they are cook already you can eat them instantly no more other ingredients to add. What do you think? So easy to cook?
