I don't believe money can buy happiness. I think happiness comes from within. Having enough money for the necessities of life though certainly seems to make it easier to be happy.

People who think that money can buy them happiness are only setting themselves up for failure. Everyone who bases their happiness on money needs to keep getting more in order to remain happy.

I do not think that money can buy happiness, I think that it can make life a bit more comfortable, and easier to manage. I also think that money can often times cause more problems. Happiness, real happiness cannot be bought or sold, it can only be found within ourselves. No matter how much money we have, if we are not happy with ourselves and the thingsd in our life, we will not be happy at all.

Yes, it can. When you remove the stress of keeping a roof over your head, keeping your vehicle running, having to go to work everyday, and providing for your children you would be suprised how very very happy you can be!

Well it depends. I think I would be a lot happier than I am now without these credit card bills hanging over my head. And I wouldn't have to worry about paying for school. But there are wealthy people who are miserable, Kurt Cobain for one. I guess it depends on the person.

I don't think that you can, but I could be wrong. I have never had enough money to buy happiness, but I am pretty happy right now, and I still don't have alot of money. I think that it is more about your personal happiness, and your goals in life.

I believe money can buy happiness, but not all forms of happiness. For example, I can buy a chocolate that probably makes me happy. I can buy a good movie, a great game...etc that makes me happy for a while. Those forms of happiness are definitely buyable. But I believe there are forms of happiness that money just isn't enough to pay. Some forms of happiness, like the feeling of accomplishment comes from hard work. Happiness from relationships with people come from giving out love and care. Money gives us the simple forms, material forms of happiness, but when you look for something non-material, most of the time, you don't expect money to do much for you. That's what I think. ^^

Well, it depends on the person. I know for me if I had money I would certainly be much happier. Not having enough money to pay bills, etc can cause unhappiness and extra stresses.Having money can solve some problems and make a more comfortable life. On the other hand, I am quite sure there are some people who are rich that may not be happy at all.
