Imagine in 2012 Earth has been destroyed You are the creator you have to design and create a brand new race to live on another planet which is habitable and there's enough air to breathe How would you create the new human? Would you just use a template of an everyday human we have today or would you add things or take away things For example would you give humans wings? would you take away emotions, add emotions, would you give humans an extra heart, extra limbs? Would they not resemble a human in any shape or form? Would you make the new human race all skinny, fat, pink, blue, red? With skin, with fur, with scales even? Use your imagination how would you create a brand new race for a brand new world? What do you think would make a perfect human to live in a new world?

Ok I know they say that opposites attract but since there has been so much prejudice on the land Earth, I will make my new Humans all the same color, a baby blue color, now everyone will be equal and the same. Everyone will have wings but they will not work until you've reached the age of 18 that way no minors will ever fly off and get lost. A small safe GPS chip will be inserted in everyone's left shoulder. There will be no sickness, this new and improved body will be sick proof and no sad emotions will ever be activated, only emotions of love and deep caring. All couples traveling together whether on foot or flying shall travel next to each other, no one shall travel in front of the other, no one is superior than another, everyone is equal. The only difference to tell us all apart will be the ability to look into each others hearts and you will have the ability to feel if that heart is full of love, hurt, available or taken, real or fake. Oh and one last thing, the bodies are made not to ever gain weight, so you can eat all the chocolate and ice cream you want!

Blessed be Howard ... may he be in charge of the new world. He'd be great. The bit about the little blue ones not being able to float off and be lost actually made me cry.

Oooh ... definitely wings! That would be brilliant - and we wouldn't need any cars or roads or petroleum crap. A BIGGER heart would be nice. Not big sizewise, but kinder to fellow humans, animals and the earth in general. If the new humans littered, they'd be immediately struck from the world. ZAP. No more Mr Nice Guy - stuff up and you're out of the pool.

It is very difficult question. We would need gene modifications to eliminate hate, greed and war. Human first instinct is to fight or run. It can be very useful when fight with predators, but not when fight with other humans. We can create perfect mixture of all skin colors, because it is not much important, but mixed race can have better survival skills because of better immune system. Perfect human would be very peaceful and live in harmony with nature. Very good question to think about.... HUGS

I think making humans peaceful rather than warmongering would be the top priority, otherwise we'd only start killing and destroying the new world all over again!

That is quite a difficult question to tackle. Thank God that I am not a God! I did not have to think about how to create a human being. I think human being is so perfect and that God has thought about lots of things before he created us. To answer your question, one has to check what is environment in the new world that you have to create your creature in it. No i would not take away the emotions. If you take out the emotions than you are creating a robot. (c) ronaldinu 2009 - the more people I meet-the more I love my dog

Some emotions could be eradicated though, greed, jealousy and hate to name just three, but I guess nothing in the world can be perfect can it? Thanks for your response my friend, no it's not a job I would like!

My answer will be a bit of an oddity. If I were responsible for creating a new race on another planet, the LAST one I would want to create would be humans. I'd do all the others and not the humans. We're the main reason the planet would be destroyed in the first place. A world without humans would be so much nicer (starting from scratch I mean, not committing total world genocide or anything, lol!).

If you really think about it we all actually decide what we look like. In our day and age there is enough technology to make us look like whatever we want to. If I had to make a new human race I would make some changes and keep some things the same. I would make it so humans no longer had to eat if they didn't want to and that they didn't have to sleep if they didn't want to. I would make it so that humans no longer excreted waste because I think that's a rather disgusting feature of animals. I would make our minds much stronger to the point where we could make our imaginations come true. I would definitely make it so humans could fly because no human has experienced that before.

You have certainly thought this through, thank you! Yes it would be wonderful to fly wouldn't it, so we didn't have to rely on cars or public transport, therefore creating less dangerous gasses into the atmosphere!

i wouldn't change anything because i think humans are already perfect because we are God's creation... i wouldn't change them and i couldn't change them to make them better as well... God already created us so perfect and beautifully and i don't see any reason why we have to change humans... take care and have a nice day...

I would make humans stronger healthwise. I would make them better able to stand up against disease. I would give them a great emotion for humor and just make them a lot tougher.I would still want them to look like they do but be stronger and make them where the hearts are tougher and people wouldnt have so many heart attacks. I would give everyone a hero mentality so that noone ever felt like a victim again, so that everyone would be helping others and doing what was right with better judgement. I would work on things that make people want to help with the enviroment so that the planet would not be destroyed again. I would make humans that would want to work to eliminate poverty and war and would set plans to prevent it. I would make humans to teach about love and what it really is and how to spread love everywhere they go. I think that was intended in creation and much got bypassed somehow ........

I would keep the body and throw the brain away. I would replace it with an artificial logical computer brain. Give it another 50 years or so... and we will be able to create artificial intelligence with emotions and feelings. It will be the perfect brain.

I would still create the new humans in my image and likeness. So that every time they look at themselves, they would still remember or think that somehow they are part of the divine. I still believe that humans destiny is towards perfection and we haven't found it yet or even begin to tap it. What a challenge! Giving everything to humans right away is so boring and no purpose. I would just let them find themselves and enjoy the ride.

I think it would have to be a very mathematical couculation. It would mean looking back over the genes of the masses. I would be God so I could eliminate disease and the fat gene if I chose. I hope I wouldn't have to do it alone. I just very honestly would not want that responsibility. I would hope that if the Earth was destroyed that those left would be able to regroup and repopulate. I can see what you are saying but I give the human being alittle more credit than that.

i will remove traitors and add few more friendly, understanding and mature people to this world, where there can be a clean environment and things and problems can be sorted out as soon as they evolve from the den.

Kind of sounds like a book I read by Margaret Atwood called Oryx and Crake. Geneticly making a human race to with stand germs, mellow to have no war fare and even their mating cycles have no territorial bounds. I think in terms of creating, I'd want something in line with germ tollerance, still with internal intellagence and the survival instinct. Pretty much like the early pioneers. They adapted, overcame and pospered. Those three things. They have to be present in any society or it will never grow.

I'll remove hatred on emotions. and I'll add an eye on the heart. So humans wont be blinded by love.. I wont add wings. I'll add more knowledge for humans. I'll regularly show atleast once in every decade to tell humans that I exists and will prevent atheism.

I think if I were able to change the human race, I myself, would have been blessed with God like qualities. So in that event, I would use as my template those human beings who had existed before on a case to case basis and change them as I saw fit. For example, perhaps someone who had been confined to a wheelchair for all of their life, may now have wings, Someone who had spent their life using their physical beauty as a means to an end, may suddenly develop scales, those who hunted down animals for the pure pleasure would find themselves at the groomers with a full set of fur. Each person would either have the opportunity to live in a physical fashion that they had previously been denied or that they now deserved.
