Scotland

About 10 years ago I spent a couple of months in Scotland. I was working in an nursing home close to Aberdeen, and in my spare time I had the chance to visit other parts of the country. I went to Edinburgh and Glasgow, but I also visited some of the smaller places/towns. I think that Scotland is a very beautiful country, and it was interesting to travel around a bit. One thing that surpriced me was the weather. I was there during the summer, and I didn't expect the weather to be so cold and rainy. I didn't even bring an umbrella, so that was the first thing I bought I would like to visit Scotland again, and I hope to visit the north of the country next time.

We've been only in our dreams. my husband's family is from there and we would love to visit. But we can only do our research from the good old USA, money is just to tight, we have to pay things like rent and food instead of travel.

I am scottish and i have to say i love anything thing that is not scottish as it teaches us a lesson. bad press today. bullsh1t regarding scotland. one bad apple does not make a country!

I went there in college. After all these years I can't really say what I might have learned that I didn't know from reading or whatever. But I very much enjoyed the trip. Had a heck of a hard time understanding some of the people when they were speaking though.
