one to send me a statement of my earnings for the year. So I have at least 3 more to go and my husband still has to get his two, one from the military and one from his job. So we will have 6 this year. Have you gotten any yet? How many will you bet getting? This doesn't even count our bank, mortgage and other statements of payins, too. It takes me until February or March to get everything in and calculated. Then we can apply for a refund from the government. We always try to overpay. Do you try to overpay so you can get a refund? Happy (not really) tax season.

We will get one W-2 for my husband. He was at the same job all year. I own a home based business so I have a different form I have to fill out, actually my husband does it. I will be getting a W-4 from Epinions this year, because I made over $600 there this year. That is about all I will be getting this year. Besides bank statements, and all the other normal stuff.

One is certainly easier to keep track of. I usually don't get one from somebody or I loose one. Epinions, over $600. That's better than I did at Mylot this year. Thanks and take care.

Not only do I overpay; I sort of rely upon the refunds. Poor health has caused me to get right around $8,500 back each year (medical deductions), and without it I would probably have to get at least one more job. I have four now.

We can always hope that the post office does not lose or misplace any of the forms we need. I got my yearly contribution statement from the church today. Handed to me.

You have 4 jobs at one time? I tried some jobs that didn't work out this year. But I'm only working two places right now. I have offers to try some more places and I may, but Wow! That's a lot back. The most we've ever gotten was $1,000. I'm sorry your health causes you so much trouble. Take care

To be perfectly honest, I'm getting too old to keep up four jobs. They're talking about cutting one from 4 days a week to 2 and, as much as I need the money, I think that will be really good for me. I'm quite thoroughly worn out, and that makes me more likely to get sick again.

I think hubby will have three, and I do not know how many I will have, two for sure, and probably at least one more. Like you said, all that other stuff as well. We have gotten mortgage info in, and some medical accounts in, but that is all so far.

It looks like most of mine will be coming in the last week. My husband works in the USA, but he gets his from a Canadian firm, so we will probably get his last in February. They mail it in January, but it goes to Albany, NY and then back up to a distribution city and then to my town.

I don't get any W-2s as I am self-employed. But I get 1099s for my work and from various banking documents. My husband gets a W-2 plus some 1099s as well. Well, it's very smart to overpay, we try to do that also. Yes, tax time can be a real pain as there's lots of organizing and pre-preparation before we meet with our tax guy, which we are doing next week.
Take care.

We see our tax guy in two weeks. I was shown some 1099s once during an interview. It was for selling insurance. The idea of keeping track of my own stuff and having to pay in on my own while working for someone else seemed like the worst of both worlds, so I didn't go for it. Wonder about the road not taken. Thanks and take care
