One Of Those Days...

Well, today has been one of those days when anything that can go wrong, has went wrong. Thank God, I didn’t have to have surgery, give birth or take any tests that would have an impact on my life.
It started out with the VCR deciding that it was through conveniently with a tape stuck in it. Then Hubby got up and his PC decided that it was through…six months after we bought it and the warranty was only good for 90 days so now we’re sharing my PC. We’ve done it before and I don’t mind it but it is a big change. Then I went to the store and had to come back to drop things off and then leave again so the cat was mad at me. I also bought the wrong chips at the store and had to go back. I’ve got black spots cropping up on one foot from my diabetes, I think and to top it all off I was about 3 hours short on my sleep.
I finally went back to bed and I took a nap. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I hate days like this. It just feels like everything goes wrong. On the up side, since Hubby and I are sharing a PC now I am getting more work done on the quilt I’m supposed to be doing and am late getting done.
Have you ever had one of those days? Did you just wish you could go back and start it all over again? What’s the worst running day you’ve had lately?

I hear ya. Monday I talked to two friends in a row who were having those kind of days. I felt like the lone ranger and scared to leave the house type of thing. No fun. I hope tomorrow is better for you.

Hey twoey~Sorry that you're having such a bad day. I have
those kinds of days sometimes and I just wish that I could
start them all over again. It is never just one thing that
goes wrong it is always a whole bunch of stuff! So I know
what you mean! All I can say is that I hope that tomorrow
will be better for you! Just try to think about starting over
again tomorrow and maybe things will look brighter. I hope
they will. Do take care.

Wow it has been one of those days again. I am sorry to hear that you had one of those days that everything that could go wrong did. When I am having days like that I will sometimes just go back to bed for a nap, if possible. I have had many days like that.It is a struggle to be strong that those times. I hope the computer gets fixed.

I sure have. I had one of those Monday. If there could have been good news Monday, I would have fell over. We took my son to the Dr. in another town, got lost, went in and then got bad news. Went home and my daughters van has been in the shop and got the news it needs a new motor. She has been using our vehicle so I am already stuck at home as she works in the next town and my husband needs the other one so he can go to work. My sister called later with the news that she was getting layed off. Then we called my MIL and she informed us they may need to put his dad in the hospital because he is so sick with the flu. It must be in the air.

Yes I have those days, I just bought a can opener, it worked for a week and it is broke, but we threw out the receipt and so I can't return it.

I feel your pain!
I have days like that pretty often it seems..
but i always think about how much worse some peoples days are..and it 'sometimes" makes me feel a little better and not take for granted how many beautiful days i actually do have : )
Heres hoping tomorrow & everyday is stress free for you!

Tuesday. I got up and felt overtired even after sleeping all night. Went out to start my car and slipped on the ice on my back steps.....I caught myself but felt like I jarred my body so was stiff all day...then work was really busy (that's a good thing though)...and right before I was going to leave I felt like I was going to throw up....got home and a little later did.....and had to call into work with the flu. Our policy at work is if you call in with the flu you automatically have three days off....well all night was h*ll......yesterday I felt a little better....weak and shakey....but now I have four days off...but I'll put those to good use as I am feeling much better today...even hungry!

It sounds like you had a heck of a day.I have'nt had a day like that in along time so I am probably due one any day now

Days like today are thrown in so we are reminded that most of the time life is pretty good. Hugs to you and tomorrow will be better.

Hey Twoey,
If I could remember all the days that went like yours, I'd have a great memory again!! Thank goodness for tomorrow. I can remember a day when I went back to the store 3 times to get the right item I went for the first time. I forgot the details, on purpose but the whole day was like that. Sorry about your hubby's pc. At this point I think my hubby and I would really hate to share computers. I have found that taking a nap is the best solution. Smart girl.xoxoxo

I have had those days and when I do, all I want to do is just crawl back in bed and wait for the day to pass. I hate those days and am thankful when I don't have one. The worse day I've had lately was the day my hubby and I split. I asked him to leave and it was my idea because I just couldn't take it anymore. It was a good decision, but it still hurts.

Well, that would be Monday. I had to run a job at work and first the screen was wrong then the ink was wrong and then I couldn't get it to print right. Cut my self and went back to try to get it to print again. Boss got mad and I told him well, I don't see you over here trying to help me so just get over it. The one lead person told me how long have you been here and no I'm not helping you. I wrote that on ticket and then the other lead she helped me and she couldn't get it as well. They got it on first shift they said come to find out they are toshing most of them in trash. Now back to you. You check your blood and go to the Dr. black spots are not a good sign. Are you eating right? let me know what the Dr. Says. GOT IT........ Your friend onlydia. I mean it take care of your self. STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIELS AND GOD

Yes those days really do just bite you in the butt. At least you saw one positive in it all. More time to work on your quilt! Keep it up and you will find more and more poitives.

I did not know you had diabetes, when did this happen? And, if you are getting black spots you need to get it checked right away! alright! Also, you think that is a bad day then you have no idea what happens when you are accident-prone and have a bad day! Girl, I have had many and I do mean many of those and I you won't believe the weirdest dates I have had! Those where bad days! Just to give you an idea on what a bad day for me is: one date wore my pantie-hoes out of the bathroom with his jeans over them. I did not know he was wearing them at the time. He was grunting and making all kinds of noise in the bathroom. I thought he was sick from the food we ate at the restaurant. He left and then when I went to spray thinking the bathroom would need it. I notice no smell but that my hoes where gone. What I can't understand is how a man 6'6 Could fit into a pair of hoes queen size 5'3. Ha Ha
And, I did not have the money to get more and I had a job interview the next day! Let's just say I did not get the job and I did not want to date him again! Well, hope your day's get better and remember you are not alone!
