I believe in everything. I will never use a ouijaboard. I don't even want to be in the same state with a ouijaboard. With a ouijaboard you don't know who will answer. It is like trying to phone a love one and getting a wrong number by mistake.I prefer a seance. It is like calling their answering service. It is more direct.

Sounds more like a Party line they used to have where you could pick up the phone and just talk and never know who was on or was going to talk back..

Wow, I don't know what to believe about Ouija boards. I have used one when I was like 9 with some family and friends. Nothing really came of it or anything exciting that I am aware of but my mom (who is the one who bought it.) got rid of it and refused to have another one in her house. So I just haven't messed with them since. I can't really say whether she was real or fake, but it does make for an interesting story. It could be that she was afraid to use her own name and used the pen name so she wouldn't be bothered or have an excuse if someone didn't like her work that it wasn't her but this spirit. I don't know what to really think on one hand I am curious and think well stranger things have happened..on the other my serious side tries to rule thinking that maybe it wasn't so..But she did have people come out and view her as she was communicating with the board. Maybe she had a split personality and that is what caused the difference in manner..but then again it could have truly happened. On page four of your link..It said that they thought it was a alter ego because she wasn't allowed to express her self because of her mother. So What is your take on the matter? I guess there is always a possibility..of it being either way.

I don't have any experience with ouijaboard or the people using and believing on it. I find it morbid. But if it is really true, I am not really that interested. I just wish people using it contributed good things and not just for the sake of saying it does good to us.

I do believe in ouija boards yes, that is probably down to the fact that I started to use them when I was about 9 or 10 years old lol!! I made it out of a tomato crate after reading books and watching programmes on tv and I took it and a few friends down to my primary school where we did the ouija board we frightened ourselves silly. I dabbled a bit then over the years before at 18 I did one with a friend and things happened that ended my association with it, I had a baby then you see and I realised that it was dangerous to carry on with it when I had a baby to think of.

hello winterose how odd that you would start a new discussion about a ouijaboard. lol i watch the young and the restless everyday and if i miss watching it during the day due to working, then i when i get back home sometime that night, i will log onto cbs's website and watch my soap on the computer, but anyways, just recently awhile back on the soap, a couple that plays on the show, they went and got themselves a ouijaboard. lol anyways, they wound up burning their ouijaboard. and to answer your question about do i believe in ouijaboard's like that?, no, they are kinda weird and i do not have one. i would like to get one sometime thou. or maybe not. lol take care and have a beautiful evening.

I believe there is a 'power' behind the ouijaboards, but I don't think it is from God. There fore I stay away from them. My personal belief is that a lot of evil can come from these innocent pasttimes. I feel really sorry for people who get sucked into the ocult through things like this. Please note, I am not saying the people who use these things are evil. I am simply stating that I belive the 'power' behind them is eveil.

I do believe in ouijaboards, I consider them risky at best and very dangerous at worse. I recently saw a show about hauntings where the physic said that the couple invited the demon/ghost in by the ouijaboard and she actually carried it out of the house - and I think burned it. She told them that it had invited the thing in and then the wife while not using it again, had some kind of attachment to it. Even tho the physic had told her to get rid of it. I also had a co-worker who had been "playing" with one as a child when the thing you (or the spirit or whatever) moves around sudden sailed through the air and hit a wall. Scared her silly. My sister had a friend that brought one in and it tried to tell me that I was going to marry some one named Bill - well, that was wrong! I knew it was wrong, I've yet to meet a Bill I ever want to marry (and I've met a few Bills who might've wanted to marry me.) **gag**

Not the true ouijaboards, but when I was younger I used to get a paper, a pen and draw all the letters of the alphabet and the numbers from 0 to 10 and also yes and no and holding the pen together with a friend bring the spirits and ask questions. Most of the time the answers were right. But till nowadays I don´t know for sure if I do believe it. About Patience Worth I have no clue. But would be nice to discover that she was real.

read the link that is why I put it there so you will know who patience worth is, a ouijaboard is a board with numbers and letters and you ask the spirit world questions and they spell out the answers to you.
