I do.. hahaha I like to visit goodwill every time I a chance. There are lots of good things in goodwill. Shoes of good quality, kitchen wares, and different types of clothing... different things and it's very cheap. The funny thing is, we are also donating some stuff to goodwill and I am buying at goodwill too. How many of you are fond of going to goodwill and buy something? Just want to hear our story.

We didn't have a goodwill for years in our area (Myrtle Beach SC), so if we wanted to go to one we'd have to hit a bigger city either up state or else where. They have now just over the last year opened two goodwill's in our area and we visit them at least once a month to buy. I like going to places like that because the prices are cheap and most of the stuff is in great or like new condition.

Oh!! really? well, you can come to Greensboro or Highpoint for great bargain than that of Goodwill. There is Carolina thrift where you can find good stuff too. Some are brand new items and they are a lot cheaper than Goodwill. they always have half price according to color code and the days. Monday is good because stocks are new. Branded shoes, shirts, pants and everything. Good luck.

Oh, wow... Thanks for the inside information. We get up that way once in a while and we'll have to make sure it's on Monday! I am a frugal bargin shopper, I shop at discount stores, thrift stores, yard sales, actions.. I buy all my kid's clothes off season, as well as most of mine and my husbands.. It sometimes sucks that it has to set in the closet for a almost a year but hey the wait is always as good as wearing it right after you buy it.

i do that too. i have a favourite thrift store that all the money that is made goes to missions, so i got there all the time. they are staffed totally by volunteers, so baring heat and hydro, all the money goes there, so i donate stuff when i clean out my house. also, i like to shop there because sometimes you can get items for as cheap as a quarter.

Things are so bad with me, I have not been able to buy anything. I have gone to goodwill twice this year so far. They were giving away coats, and I went and was able to get two nice coats, and this past Tuesday, they were giving out food. I went and got a nice little package. I did buy furniture from them years ago, when I left my husband and moved into my own apartment.

Oh really? goodwill is giving free stuff? I did not hear that in my area. Where can we check that online? I will try to find out.

I do not know if there is a freecycle online where you are, but here there is and people give away clothes and all sorts of things on a daily basis. I just gave away a bag pf work clothes that I weeded out while cleaning my basement. Chrck online to see where a local chapter is located.

I do. But I find them to be more pricey that other thrift stores. I usually go to Salvation Army or St. Vincent De Paul's or some local thrift store. I find that you can haggle to get better deals.

oh yes, I do agree. Their stuff are a little bit pricey than other thrift stores but they are in good quality too. I bought pair of shoes there that looks like new. And I paid only $3.50 good deal.

hi explorations, I agree with you. There are many good stuff in goodwill. Like silverwares, unique cups and glasses and everything you plan to collect, you can find it there. They look new because some of them were donated by people who never even use the item. We also donate things to goodwill.

I do buy things from the Goodwill Store. I have found some really good jeans and capris there. I have bought clothes, toys and books for my kids. They really do have great bargains. I donate to Goodwill also. I figure that even though I may not be able to use it, someone else might. Then I shop there and end up buying someone else "junk". hahaha I like that qoute.."one man's trach is another man's treasure" Yes because there are some items in our house that we don't use but maybe other people can. I am always at the goodwill because I can find cheap things there that are of good quality.

for what reason? because they are second hand products? not at all because there are stuffs there that are donated by some department stores, their stocks that are not sold, so then that can be considered as brand new. Or maybe you have lots of money to buy stuff in malls? hahahah.. have a nice day.

I used to buy from Goodwill more than I have in the last few years. Mostly because I lived in the middle of nowhere for a few years and there were not any really close by. I just moved back to the city though where there are lots of them, so THRIFT STORE shopping for me coming really soon. I love thrift stores.

I've never really been a fan of goodwill, I do donate to them but I just can't get into buying stuff from them. Every now and then something will catch my eye but I'd rather buy it someplace else.
