Do you often buy stuff online?

Most of us here work to earn money online, but do you use any of it to buy stuff from online shops, like eBay or Amazon.com? What sort of things would you or do you buy, if you have the choice and the money to buy something? I had my first experience of buying stuff online late last year when I bought a couple of pieces of clothing from an online store. I must say, they turned out pretty well, so I have bought more stuff since. What would you like to buy, or have you already bought something? Thanks for reading, and happy myLotting!

I buy more things online than I do in stores, there is so much more variety on the internet rather in the stores. I don't spend much money on things, but when I do it is usually online. A week or two ago I bought myself three packs of polaroid film on Amazon, since it is not being produced anymore it is not in stores, so the internet is my only resource for it. I got that in the mail a few days ago so I am very happy with it!

I don't really buy that much, because I tend to like to be able to see what I want to buy in person before buying it, but it's good that you purchased something you liked as well! Thanks for your response!

Same here, most of the stuff I buy is from online. Except groceries. But yeah, probably about 2/3rds of my clothes are from online. There's so much more to choose from, and you can get really good deals, whereas if you go to a store's sale rack, there will only be 1 or 2 sizes of any item. The only problem with online shopping is the shipping costs.

i do like online shopping since it's very convenient but i guess i like to go to the stores more though, since you get to touch/try/see the item. i only buy things online whenever the item i want is not available in my country or if it is, it's cheaper to get it online.

Online shopping is most convenient for buying things that are not available in your area, I totally agree with that. I buy clothing from Asia online, which is generally cheaper than the few Asian clothing stores in my area. Thanks for your response!

I don't really buy a whole lot online. I used to buy a lot of books online and I recently bought a plane ticket online, but most of the things I buy I get from the store store. I wouldn't buy clothes online because I want to make sure they fit.

Clothing is a bit of a hassle, but the places I buy it from gives you exact measurements for everything, so you can measure yourself and see if the clothing will fit (instead of just the regular S,M,L stuff), thus it's not as bad and I get to be fairly certain that the clothes will fit me. Thanks for your response!

I sometimes buy books and cds online. I am interested in music from other countries and it is not possible to buy that music in the shops in my own country. I could ask the shops to get the cds for me, but it is a lot easier to order them online. So far I have only bought Danish books online (books that I needed for my education as a nurse) but I have thought about buying English books as well. Sometimes the books that I want to read haven't been translated into Danish yet, so I have to buy the English version instead.

It is much easier to buy something online that's not available where you live. I think that's what the majority of people use online shopping for. Thanks for your response!

My husband loves to buy cellphones and computers online. He finds them more convenient to buy because you are buying directly from a person. And the warranty is most of the time present and that attracts him more to buy the stuffs I have mentioned. When it comes to meeting place also there are better options and usually the seller is the one who comes nearer because he is the one selling. Nowadays it is more convenient to use the internet when you need to buy some stuff so as to save time and money.

Yup buying stuff online has saved time and energy for many people, and it really is convenient. No more looking around a store and finding out that the thing you want is sold out! Thanks for your response!

I frequently use online shops, simply because i can spend more time looking for exactly what i want at my own pace. Without all the hustle and bustle at the shops. I also use ebay, to buy/sell. Usually pick up things there new and used to fairly cheap :)

Online shopping does tend to be more convenient, and sometimes cheaper too. But you also have to consider shipping price and gas spent on pickup for items and stuff. But it's great that you think it's convenient. Thanks for your response!

I don't often buy things online but only if it is either cheaper, more convenient or, the store isn't available anywhere near us. My fiance and I have used our online earnings to buy something online before, because the thing we wanted was not available in a store near us.

Yes that was mainly the reason that I decided to buy something online. The clothes I bought are imported from Asia, so it's in Asian styles that you can't really find much of in North America, and the stuff I have found are uber expensive. Thanks for your response!

I don't often buy stuff online. I do sometimes but mostly books from Amazon.com. Although probably more convenient and time-saving, I don't shop online because I am afraid that what I receive is different from what I saw online, (I mean for clothes and other stuff). Besides, I enjoy the act of shopping very much. I enjoy the thrill of finding that great bargain and browsing through the stores to find a great buy.

Yeah I sometimes worry about what I buy too, cause there always tend to be some differences that you might overlook while shopping. But books are a great thing to buy online, since all you do is read the synopsis anyways. It's great that you like to go out and shop, and get discounts and savings too! Thanks for your response!
