Good news!

Some of you may have read my discussion on the medication that was out of stock, and the insurance wouldn't pay for the brand name, only the generic that no one seemed to have. Well it came in today at the pharmacy, so it looks like I'll be getting it! And they also are going to refund the money I paid for the brand name pills I had to buy since the insurance had not come through.
Also, some of you may remember me telling you about my cousin with breast cancer who had had a double mastectomy. She is in her early thirties, married, with two little boys. She had gotten an all clear, then it came back and it looked bleak, stage 4 and spreading everywhere. Then I told you all how they came back after some treatment and every bit was gone. Well, it is still gone. The seven places where it had been are still clean. She is taking another round of chemo just to be careful, but she is still clean of cancer.
Any good news you would like to share?

I am glad to here that medicine you want is available now and you will get refund and you cousin stay clean of cancer after treatment. god bless you all and everybody.

Wow what great news all way round. I'm glad they finally got your medication straightened out and that you'll be refunded, and fantastic news about your cousin getting the all clear from cancer.
Mmmmm....my news? Well an article I wrote for Fate Magazine is now published in the latest issue..still haven't gotten paid for it yet though--have you heard anything from our mutual friend? I'm still hoping to hear something positive about her cat Sammy

Hey...AmbiePam...it almost sounds like a rainbow has settle over you and yours!
So glad you were able to get your meds...Are these meds that you can double up on, e.g. tell your Dr....and always have 30 days supply as a back up, so really you wuld have 60 days backup...but replenish your back up every 30 days?
I am so pleased for your cousin...hopefully with life being a little kinder to you and yours, you will have a wonderful year.

Thanks for sharing your good news. It's always nice to hear good news especially in these days and times.
I guess my good news is that I still have a job that I have had for 13 years when so many people are losing their jobs. Even though we have gone through many transitions over the past year or so, makes me appreciative that I still have a job.

your medication after all! And I am glad that they will be
reimbursing you for the money that you had to lay out for
the name brand medication too! And I am so glad to hear about
your cousin! That is incredible news to hear that she is now
cancer free! I hope that she will remain that way and I will
pray that she stays that way so she can enjoy her life with
her family!

Well I had eye surgery and it went really well the difference in seeing is unbelievable, but lets first praise the lord for her not having any more cancer, god works in great ways don't he. Hopefully the results will remain that way. Tell her good luck for me and I will keep her in my prayers also.

That is great! Phew! Nothing like a professional bungle to really get the heart going is there? At least it has been sorted and you should be back to (your) normal by now (unless its happened again).
That's also great about your cousin. Let's hope after this round of chemo, the cancer is all gone!

I am so happy that you will receive your meds.
And also happy about your cousin. It is looking so good for her. My good news is that I will see two of my children at the end of this month. am so excited about it. I am going to North Carolina to see my daughter's house and my son and his family live with her. It will be a wonderful few days. My son bought me the ticket as he did not come at Christmas to see me.

I don't have any really good news to share, but I did want to stop and say it was good to hear you got everything taken care of with the meds. I know how much of a pain pharmacies and insurance places can be. Also with your cousin that is excellant news and I hope all continues to be great with her!!
