My mum has put up netting and it has lessened around the house..but lizards still give me the creeps..there have just been soo many times that I ran screaming just at the sight of a lizard..if I didn't scream..I'd be stunned forawhile like I saw a ghost..ahhaha.. You may think me real childish..but it doesn't matter..hahah Princess

This is the first time that I heard about someone who's afraid of lizards.. Besides me. :D Yes, they scare me to my grave, I swear. Lock me up in a bathroom with it and I can really really freak out. You're not childish. If you are, then I am too. I think of lizards as creatures that jump on your face/head then stick there. Freaky. Besides lizards, cockroaches freak me out too.

One time in a youth hostel a backpacker woke up and found a cockroach on her pillow. Oh my, that was scary. When I was staying in Brisbane and I went into the kitchen in the night and put the light on cockroaches would rush out of sight quickly. It was quite frightening. I don't like mosquitoes because the bite and some carry disease like Malaria and Yellow Fever. I am not fond of sand flies that I felt bite me. I learned that baby oil repels them and I had used insect repellent to repel mosquitoes. I like to sleep under a net if visit a Malarial area.

COCKROACHES...yuk, yuk, yuk. Why did God create coackroaches...they have got to be the most disgusting creatures on the planet. The ones I hate the most are the big, fat dark brown ones, OMG how gross. Just writing about them is making me wince. Yuk, yuk, yuk.

Spiders give me the creeps most. I don;t like spiders and i really don't want any spiders hanging in the bath room or toilet specially the big hairy ones that gives me goosebumps. I also don't like cockroaches. I really scream when this insects fly around, i feel very very eww, i know what they smell when they are around it is stinky. Specially when you walk in a dark alley and there is an open canal, and yoikss you see a bunch of cockroaches playing there merrily, yuckkss. And the other annoying insect is the bedbug that sucks blood and your skin gets swell on their bite. I got bitten by beg bugs specially when we ride buses going back to city, the travel time is 12 hours and so we sleep on the bus. The following morning you will see the bite marks red and you would like to scream and get angry and promise that i will never want to ride that same bus again.

Those cute little lizard-looking reptiles are,"Skinks. These are one of my favorite creatures here in South Texas. Once when I was in the Garage a skink jumped onto the back of my hand. He sat there watching my eyes as I walked around. The skink was a brown shade like the garage walls. As I watched him on my hand his legs began to change from brown to green then his body and tail slowly changed. Suddenly he jumped from my hand to my shoulder where he matched the color of my green shirt.I was intrigued by his anticipated color change. It happened so quickly. Wouldn't it be wonderful if people could change the color of their skin in 2 minutes.

I think all bugs are creepy and just make my skin crawl. Maybe I have a phobia of them but,I would rather face a wild ravenous dog than a pack of flesh scaling bugs. Which would you choose? Bugs or a hug wild animal? I would take my chances with the huge animal, at least I can then see my opponent. LOL.

Spiders, ever since I seen the movie I scream and am truly terrified of spiders. I almost put my hand on one in the shower a couple of summers ago and I shook for five minutes! The other bug that creeps me out is the roach. I am not scared of them but I do despise them.

I rather like lizards the ones that bother me are centipedes ,millipedes, and spiders. the worst of all are probably scorpions. Those big roaches are pretty disgusting too. I know people who have gotten really sick from spider and scorpion bites. the first time I saw a centipede in my house i was astounded by how tough it was. those things have really powerful teeth. Getting bashed around a bit doesn't seem to bother them much.

I'm really not scared by any of the bugs around our place. I do avoid spiders though some are so ugly. My 22 year old granddaughter is a screamer when it comes to palmetto bugs and the other kinds of cockroaches. I get the wonderful job of killing them for her when she does see one. One night I heard her crying and when I went to find out why she said one was crawling on her in her bed. I thought some thing had happened to her boyfriend. she ended up sleeping with me the rest of the night. Now she love lizards and wants one for a pet. she is always chasing them down when she sees them out in the yard. We don'r get them in the house. Maybe they would eat those palmetto bugs and other cockroaches the seem to sneak in.

I definitely have a spider thing going on! I don't like spiders, I hate them and they definitely give me the creeps! I think it's really strange the way they walk, all those legs and they are so ugly looking too! My greatest fear is that when I am sleeping there will be one lurking on the ceiling somewhere above me and it could accidentally drop onto my head! This would be nothing less than torture for me! I don't understand my fear but I've had it for a long time and I guess me and spiders will never get along! Andrew

Well umm, a lizard isn't exactly a bug. (Knows now she sounds too much like Gil Grissom lol). I don't like cockroaches though. I lived down south for a time where we got the ones that fly. They are large enough to carry off a small animal. Ok, I'm exaggerating slightly, but anyone who has lived down south or in the southwest knows the kind I'm talking about. I didn't know cockroaches grew that large, or even had wings until I moved down there. Oh my lord!! I recall hearing something when sleeping one night and when I turned on the bedlight one of them came dive bombing me before it hit the wall. I also don't like mosquitos, though I don't think they creep me out necessarily. But catepillars do. I hate the ones that make those horrible nests in trees. It goes back to when I was in 3rd grade and my brother tried to dump a whole bunch of them on me. YUCK!
