I remember when I was pregnant toward the end you feel like a beached whale...You got to pee a million times a day..You can't get comfy... And you can not wait to meet the little person residing in your womb... My neighbors are due tomorrow and are excited and can't wait...It's extra special because the new dad is a young man that spent many days and nights at my home growing up..He's like one of mine. Does it bring back memories?..expecting kids or pets? xoxoxoxoxxo

Oh yes, all of those pleasantries of the last trimester! I remember them all to well. I was so anxious to get the baby out my last two weeks. They lept telling me "Any day now" and every day ticked by without labor. I tried all of the old wives tales trying to meet her. I finally delivered five days before my due date and don't think I could have survived any longer than that! I am in my second trimester with my second baby and I can tell this one is going to be a rough one. I am carrying this baby much lower than my first and my belly aches a lot by the end of the day. Plus, I chase around a two year old all day long! I know the countdown and wanting to deliver ASAP are just around the corner. Good luck to your neighbors! I hope they deliver a healthy baby.

One of my friends just had a baby also. Yes it brings back memories of being pregnant. I remember the feeling of being at the end and you just can't wait til it comes out and then after it does I usually miss it being in my tummy and feeling it kick so I want it to go back in They grow so fast once they are born, and the whole baby thing don't last for long! Mine just turned one and it don't seem like he should be yet.

It's true. I remember at the end of my pregnancy feeling like I just wanted to get it over with, but now that my youngest is three, I look back kind of nostagically on those days. Good luck to your neighbor, and to the new dad! Tell them to enjoy these last few days and hours, because you can't get them back.

My daughter is due in about six weeks. I am excited, and kind of sad that I will not be there. I am planning to go at the first of June to meet the new baby.

I don't think childbirth or your pregnancies ever leave your memory. I can remember mine clearly today and that was a long way off, my friend. I hope all goes well for your neighbours. Please pass them my best wishes. Brightest Blessings.

Oh yes. Expecting the birth of a child is a wildly exciting time. Been there and done that a few times. Each birth was different. There is a lot that has to be done before the child arrives and ton more to be done afterwords. But there is nothing like holding and rocking that child the first time.

I don't have children, but I do have a relative (a member of my generation) who is about to have a baby any day now. Our whole family is excited. Babies are absolutely wonderful. another relative of my husband's had a baby on the 18th, and someone from my step-dad's side had a baby a couple of months ago.

I was so big when I was pregnant that I couldn't even get off of the coach without help. I was tired all the time and very uncomfortable kinda like I feel now weighing a heck of a lot more than I did back then.

Hi raydene! Oh that is so great! Congratulations to that young father! I am sure that he is so very happy! I remember when I was so excited with the births of all my nieces and nephews. I was beside my brother all the time who was so nervous and excited. Babies are blessings! Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

My baby will be three on Friday. I fell when I was 8 months pregnant with her and broke my tailbone, so the last 3 weeks as well as delivery were especially painful. That is one of the reasons she was my last. My other two are 11 and 4. I still like to rock her when she will let me, but she is SO independent nowadays. A lady at church just had a baby and I find myself wanting another...
