My steak is still mooing

I like my meat well done. So well done there is NO PINK left in the meat. That is part of the reason I never order steak when I go out to eat. No matter how well done I say I want it, it always comes out pink. I normally will tell them when you think it is burnt it is perfect.

Not really because I don't eat steak much. But when I do go, I ask for medium well. Every so often, they'll show a lil red, and I may run with it, but for the most part, I don't want no blood in my stuff either. I hear you girl. lol.

yes. i like mine pink but mooing please. i have been hungry for a good steak. looked at one at the grocery other day & it was nearly $10. i believe it would be as cheap to get one out at least u get all the trimmings. groceries are ridiculous!!!

I like my steak medium too and yes I have had it mooing. If they are nice about it,I am patient because I like a good steak. I like what I like and to rare kind of turns my stomach.

Haha, that's funny. But my ex loved it raw and would often get it more mooing instead.

I like my steak medium too. If its still mooing its going back too. I don't go out for steak that often and its usually ok.

I have never had that happen before, but I usually ask for my steak to be well done. I don't like to have any pink inside my steak, so I always get it well done so that it is totally cooked. I would definitely have to send it back though if I got a steak that was still really red. I don't like it that way, but I also think it is dangerous to have it that way since it's not fully cooked!

I've never had that happen with steak before, but I have with chicken. We were eating at a well known restaurant and I had ordered chicken strips (I was only 12 at the time and I was on a kick of eating chicken strips every time we went out). Anyway, I started eating one and there was gooey stuff inside that looked like salad dressing. I just thought that maybe they had some weird chicken strips that were made that way......wrong!....the chicken was totally raw! I had never been more disgusted in my life. How can you really cook something, serve it, and it not even be close to being done?! It took me a while to eat chicken again after that.

Mooing is good for me, pink is ok, well done is like eating leather. I like it tender and juicy.

Yes this has happened to me. And it always seems to happen when I'm really hungry or when we have had to wait a long time for our food. Now days I cook at home.

I work in a resturant and if someone orders their steak medium I will warn them that it will be really red. Medium in most resturants isn't medium anymore it's more like medium rare. So I will ask them if that is what they are wanting or more pink than red. Most times they will tell me they don't want it red so I will always put my order into the cooks medium but more done. Usually my customers are very happy with the way their steaks come out. Say it's just the way they like it!

i had a friend that had got one still cold on the inside before. blood dosn't bother me as long as it is up to temperature. i like mine medium from the restaurants. whenever i cook it myself, i marinade it, so the blood is gone when it is still medium. my wife used to have to have hers burnt until i started marinading hers. she saw how much flavor was in the juices she was losing.

I have definitely had my steak cooked wrong before! I always order medium, because I am ok with anywhere between medium rare and medium well, but I really prefer medium! Be careful ordering medium and expecing it to be slightly pink in the center. To me that is medium well. Medium is a hot pink center. Although, I guess that is the problem. Everyone defines the doneness of the meats differently! Just another reason to cook it yourself! At least it was undercooked. They can always cook it more! I hate when my steaks come out overcooked!
