I used to talk in my sleep, in fact a few times I actually tried beating up my boyfriend while I was still asleep. He said I woke up, punched him and kept hitting him while I had a go at him for not listening to me. Another time, I woke up and tried kicking him out of bed by actually kicking and punching him. I don't remember any of it, he said that he would just shout at me to shut up and go to sleep and I would. I haven't done it for a few years though as far as I know lol

Hello moneymommy, i was suppose to ask you if you were able to interview your husband when he does talk while sleeping. It did happen to my hubby, only once. And i guess he must be very very tired that day when i heard him talking while we were sleeping. But to me, i don't seem to understand what he says. Probably i can only remember one or two words he clearly mentioned and he was in a way asking something. But i did not interrupt him in his sleep. I let him sleep well because I'm sure he's got a day ahead again for work. And when we woke up, i told him about how i hear him talk while he was sleeping and he was shock, because he never knew, never did he talk while sleeping, from childhood till he got married to me, he said it must have been the effect of too much work and pressure.

my son talks in his sleep, but not very often, his father used to do the same thing. I really don't know if I talk in my sleep nobody ever told me. My son and boyfriend do say that I snore though.

It's really rare for me to talk in my sleep. However my husband giggles and moans in his sleep . It's really cute when he giggles like someone is tickleing him . It makes me wonder what the heck he's dreaming .

I have a friend that talks in his sleep sometimes. It will just be a string of words but not anything that makes sense. He must have a lot on his mind at the time. Our girl scout troop had a few girls who would talk in their sleep also. I always figured it happened because they were sleeping somewhere new or different. There was one girl who would actually yell while sleeping. It sounded like she was fighting with someone. We would just roll her over and she would quit.

Hi, there. My husband does not talk in his sleep, thank god. I would really be spooked out if he does. I don't think I do either because he has not teased me about anything like that. I have a roommate years ago that who does though. I tried asking her a question once and she answered. It was unintelligible but she sounded like she was responding. It was really spooky and didn't try it again after that

I talk in my sleep when I get way overtired. My ex used to joke and tell his friends that he would quiz me while I was sleeping. They said he used to say stuff like: what are you going to do when your husband gets home? They said I'd always reply...why are you asking? You ARE my husband. Somehow I didn't find it funny, and distrustful. Luckily, I'm not a cheater or something lol. When I hear somebody talking in their sleep, I assume they're tired, or just having an active dream state...kind of like my dog who runs, chases, and yips in her sleep.

SLEEP TALKING OR SOMNILOQUY Surely I do at least once in a month, especially when there is still so much unresolved life issues and the similar situation to it. Normally, it also happened to me when things are unachievable and unreachable while on great hopes. Sometimes when the awaiting results on something, taking long time to come out.

I think everyone in our family has talked in their sleep at one time. It's pretty interesting. I lay there and try to figure out what my husband is saying.

We both don't seem to do this much, but the children certainly do, especially if they are really tired and sleeping hard.

I dont think that I talk in my sleep because no one has ever said anything about it or commented and since I have been married for 13 yrs I think he would know by now...LOL, but boy does my hubby talk in his sleep, but the funny thing is he works in his sleep... he works in remodeling/and new construction and he will be asking for hammers and telling people what walls are going up and what doors need to be hung.... poor guy cant get away from work even in his sleep....LOL

Hi moneymommy...If I were you, I would be in there listening to what hes saying and seeing if you can carry on a conversation with him. You can with some people who talk in their sleep. But then again, I dont know how much they are really responsible for saying when they are sleep. I did a discussion one day on how my mom talked to me one day while I was sleep walking up 2 flights of stairs. When she realized I was asleep, she was afraid of startling me. I have also heard my hubby talk in his sleep. NOthing interesting or anything I could even really decipher. Might be a good thing!

My hubby sometimes talks in his sleep. Sometimes, I can hear him laughing, or I can see he was knitting his brow. If it bring to my notice, I may ask him what happened as from my experience, I knew I won't wake him up if I talked to him. If he had a nightmare, my talking can soft him a bit, he then can fall asleep simultaneously. If he had a sweet dream, I will ask him more, I can see his smile on his face and he talked back to me in a voice so sweet and will fall asleep again. But if I asked him after he woke up in the morning, he would have any idea what I was talking about. It's quite funny. As for myself, I don't talk in my sleep.
