I thought I'd post this picture up for you guys to guess what it might be. I had to laugh when my husband showed it to me.
I told him I didn't want it, I didn't care for it thanks to what he did to it.
It looks a little gross to be honest, but it's already been eaten for the most part, until he cooked it some more today.

looks like chiken, and mud..or at least i hope its mud, and not something else.

It's chicken. It's already been eaten, but the thing is that it's purple.
My husband boiled the chicken with purple cabbage, and that was the end result today.

As to where I came from, we used to cook the whole chicken with its head and feet etc. so I am not surprised to see this and immediately guessed that it could be a chicken. Perhaps, the colors combination of the surrounding areas of the plate in addition to the lighting and the picture is a bit blurred, all those things made it look gross.
So, it looked to me as a chicken with stuffing and as you said, it is partially eaten so that makes it look more gross.
Well, I think it is a good one.

Looks like somekind of bird, like duck.. I don't like cooked duck myself, any I have tried has either been to wild tasting or to dry..
