My MyLot Friends

I went through this for a long time. In fact, I did not figure out what was wrong until one of my friend's here on Mylot told me. In order to get any of your notifications you need to put a check before all of them or you won't get any of them.

I get notifications for you but I've noticed that many of my friends are very quiet. When I get a little time I plan to see if they've made any new discussions that I haven't been notified of. I have everyone's notifications on, too! With 500 friends, you should have an avalanche of mail each day--I have about 200 friends and they keep me busy all day!!

I get a couple of notifications, but not many. I just started getting them recently.

Hello, GardenGerty. I have to admit that I do not have any notifications on. I do not check my mailbox daily, I do not log in myLot often, and therefore it would just be a waste to turn the notify on. I cannot be here all the time to answer, so it would just fill my mailbox and I'd go crazy. But at least I do check the Friends Page to answer to their discussions! Respectfully, Munhozmib.

A far as I know I'm getting notifictions. Once in a while, for some reason, notifications end up in mt spam folder. Not sure why that happens, perhaps when more than one is posting at the same time? Now I always look before I empty that folder.

I am confused myself because my notification stop working except those who started many discussion in a day- i mean one person many discussion in a day, that i received but for some i didn't receive it. I am not sure if being inactive here got something to do with it because that's what all i can take of and that started when i became inactive for a couple of months.

I turned off my notification off for now. I do it individually I have put a number of friends on notify, that is I do it individually rather then just check the notify box. I want to avoid anyone who is nasty and posts to every individual who disagrees with him for the whole purpose of getting them to agree with him The trouble is that now I have to keep all the tabs open to respond to their comments. Yours is still on.

I have all my notifications on but lately I noticed that I don't get their discussions in my mail. Only when I check the friends started that I realize my friends have started new discussions without my knowing it. There seems to have some kind of traffic blockage with mylot of late. I have well over 500 hundred friends and not many are actively participating here but I try my best to reach out to all discussions started by my friends if I can relate to them, I'll response to the best of my ability. The support of friends are vital here as we do not want to waste a good post left with zero response. We should all join hands to support each other in the spirit of mylotting.

I turn off the notification. But I often check my friends' discussions and try to respond to them. Besides it, I also check Today's Top Discussions. Sometimes I will even check the discussions have no responses. I love China

i've noticed that i've been getting fewer notifications (i even went and turned more on!) I chalked it up to people being busy outside because its spring not winter anymore and all that jazz. I've only had on average 10 notifcations in my inbox recently. I went and checked the spam box too after seeing this post then I've headed off to the friends started section and yes i have been missing notifications!

I think it is not a big problem. You can response your friend's topic, but you may to not response. I only activated for response i got for my topic. I havent activated friends email notification. I think it is not a bad thing. So keep on commenting

I have only been getting a few also. I have lots too. I just cannot imagine that only a handful is active. I have not turned you off.

Nope, I still have you on "Notify On". I often switch around who I have turned the notification on and whom I have it turned off for. But, I hardly get any notifications anymore because about 95% of my friends here on Mylot don't seem to be starting discussions. :(

I don't want or have a lot of friends and I seem to be getting the notifications. I got yours.

I have every single of one my friend notifications on, but there are two people on my friend list that I don't get any of their notifications: Lilybug and LittleMel. Lilybug says a lot of people have told her they don't get her notifications anymore. If you contact mylot they maybe can fix it. I've had the case happen when I was getting no notifications for anyone. I contacted mylot and two days later it was fixed.

I've often wondered the same thing about my friend, GardenGerty. I hardly get any notifications and wonder if some people ever turn on notifications. I get notifications from some that have never come to any of my discussions, so I figure they either don't have notification turned on or don't comment on other discussions.

Hey pat! I have the same problem! I have well over three hundred friends and I don't get nearly more than twenty notifys! So I don't understand why! There has to be a reason! I guess the people have their notifys turned off! I have all of my friends notifys turned on! Even if they are no longer here or inactive I still have all my notifys turned on! I have had people tell me that they have the notifys turned on and I still don't get their emails to respond to their discussions! I have no idea why?
