I like both. I like to have buffet meal once in a while to fulfill my big desire of lots of different food! I cannot eat whole heck of a lot but like to have varies of choices including appetizer, salad, hot dishes, cold dishes, dessert, soup etc, how nice is that? I like to go to nice restaurant that you can have some specific food like I can order what sushi that I want at Japanese restaurant, small portion and tastes good. I'm not saying buffet food is not good but we gotta pay more for better quality, that's for sure. Which one do you like better? Are you able to taste every single food at buffet? I usually end up leaving holding on a 4 months old baby hehe!! ~^O^~

I like buffets, because I like to eat many different kinds of food and many different dishes. I am always curious when I see some food that I don't know and I like to eat new kinds of food. I especially like buffets at foreign restaurants, because I love food from other countries. I always try to eat a little bit of every dish, because I am so curious and I want to try everything. I am usually more adventurous than my family and my friends, I just can't resist trying something new.

I like both. I like various kinds of food. In most cases, my family members and I will eat at a regular restaurant, where you can enjoy some specialities. It seems that every dish is made with care and heart by the cook at the restaurant bacause the dish you order is only for you, not others. So you can have a pleasure of enjoying your particular food. In addition, when you finish all the dishes on the table, you will leave without any pity because you feel that you eat up what you cost in dinning. But occasionally, I will go to the buffet restaurant with friends. There you can get many kinds of food, almost everything. But I have sort of feeling, that is, those food are massly produced for many people, maybe they are not very delicate. Even some dishes taste just so-so. You will pick up what tastes best. But most of them are not specially made for you. In the buffet restaurant, what you feel is the pleasure of picking up food more than the pleasure of chewing the food.

i prefer to eat in a regular restaurant because i can't eat much... i always eat very little and get full very easily... so if i am eating in a buffet restaurant, i will be losing money... :-) also, i don't really enjoy eating in a buffet restaurant... there are just too much food and i can't decide what i want to eat... :-) take care and have a nice day...

Most of the time I prefer going to a regular restaurant. The only time I really go to a buffet is when there are a bunch of us going. It makes it easier since there are all sorts of different foods to try on the buffet. I have never tried to take a bite of everything on the buffet before. But, that is one of the nice things about a buffet. You can take like one bite worth of food to see if you like it instead of committing to buying a whole meal like it.

I think i like buffet better since i can choose on the variation of food that are serve at a lower price. But im not quite sure since i dont eat so much and the money i paid for the buffet may not reasonable with what i can take to eat. Im not fond of eating , unlike my boyfriend who have so much interest on it. I can just eat simple meal like adobo (a filipino dish, pork cooked mainly with soya and vinegar) and rice together with it. I dont mind at all having a soup on my meal or a dessert afterwards. My main reason of eating is to satisfy my hunger, as long as the taste is acceptable by my tastebud. So i would choose of which i can save better, buffet or regular doesnt matter.

It sounds like me, how much I eat isn't balanced to how much I pay for, but I still like the buffet food that I* can have a range of options!

i like a salad buffet. i love salads & like all the good things they have on the buffet to put on them. as for regular food i'd rather order from the menu. i like something different when i go out to eat than what i have at home.

i like both for different reasons. i like the idea of a buffet so that you can try a variety of different things and see what you like. when i go to a regular resturant, i dont want to experiment because you are paying a lot of money for that one particular meal, so i tend to go with tried and true.

I prefer a regular restaurant to a buffet restaurant, because I always end up feeling sick after a buffet as I feel the need to take advantage of the "all you can eat" aspect and then never feel good. Whereas in a regular restaurant, you get nice size portions that fill me to the point that I am content, but not stuffed to feeling sick. I do like the fact that buffets are cheaper than regular restaurants, I wish regular restaurants were equally priced to their buffet competitors.

Yea... regular restaurants tend to be more expensive because they sell specific food, this is the other advantage of the buffet place, some could be crappy though.

I like buffe restaurant since you have lots of different foods to choose from. My favourite is the salads which i really love and sometime I eat only salads. However I feel that buffet are really tempting and actually you eat a lot, which is not really good for keeping fit and healthy.

I like both too since if it is buffet, i can get what i want to eat and i can arrange it to the way i like it like the salad. But i also have nothing against regular serving of restaurants because i wanted to sit down and wait for the food to be served by waiters and i like to chit chat with my friends and love ones while waiting for the food. Now i feel hungry. I haven't been into a restaurant for a month now since i started working online. I have to finish what i do online and work at home and do chores. On a buffet restaurants i like Barrio Fiesta, Triple V, Kabalen and Wendy's Salad bar. But on a regular restaurant, i like Shakeys, Goldilocks, KFC and Pizza Hut. I haven't got an experience yet on a Japanese restaurant with which you can select or create your own sushi, yummy

Oh I like Japanese restaurant and we have some belt sushi place where you can pick up the sushi that you want and they count the plate to charge you, so how many plate you take will be how much the dinner costs you! I miss it!

I think I am qutie strange, sometimes my favorite foods changes time to time, one day I like pork chop and don't like it another day. But I don't really mind to have something I don't like to eat sometimes, I mean I enjoy the time to have meals with my family or friends. So I like a regular restaurant also, but in a buffet restaurant I can choose what I like to have at that moment, and the feeling is quite good to have different kind of foods. Both are good for me.

It depends on what kind of food it is and how hungry I am. Also the quality of the place and the staff. Chinese is good both as a buffet and a take out/sit down place but some days I'm in the mood for a lot of variety and others not so much. The same could be said for several other cuisines that offer both choices as well.

i personally prefer to go to a buffet style resturant. this is my prefered choice because it allows you to choose a greater variety of foods than if you order one dish at a no buffet resturaunt. it also lets you choose the portions of each diffrent food. i usually on ly go to buffets when i am very hungry because i am not a very big eater at all. so i do not feel that i get my moneys worth out of a buffet where i only eat half a plate of food. my favourite place has to be the madarin they have ahuge selection of vegetarian food compared to many toher places :)

I like both too.. but i guess i like the buffet more.. maybe cause i dont get to go to one often as its very expensive, but you can have a taste of many different things instead of just one plate of food.. i'm not a very big person, but i can sure pack away a lot of platefulls of food when i'm at one of those places. oh yes i get my money's worth. My nan wont eat at a buffet because all the people that could handle the food or could sneeze on the food. lol but she eats in regular resteraunts every friday. and she eats processed foods like hot pockets, and pre baked muffins.. lol doesn't she realize that's just as bad ? oh.. and she wont use a microwave at home.. or at anyone elses home.. but i'm willing to bet the resteraunt microwaves SOMETHING that she eats. jeez what's the big dealy?! :P

I prefer a regular restaurants nowadays. I always over eat when I eat buffets...gosh this just reminds me that I haven't had a buffet meal for the last 5 years. I wouldn't mind if someone comes along and treat me to a buffet. But most of the time, we don't eat what's really worth the money we paid for in the buffet. So that's why my husband and I have stopped going to buffets.

I do not like buffets, unless in a very good Hotel, or a renowned restaurant, because that is food prepared way in advance by the time it gets to your plate, and food poisoning is very easily contracted this way. I like my food prepared a la minute, upon my request.

I prefer to eat in a buffet since i can choose the foods that i want to eat in just one price. even though it's kinda high, it's better that way than just plain order and have an additional with an additional pay. buffet is good for me, and the good part is that i get to eat first before anyone elses can. have a nice day.

I usually don't go out to eat that often, but when I do, it's normally not for a buffet. When I do go to a buffet, it is normally on my lunch hour (there is an indian place that has a lunch buffet) or on weekends (there is a chinese buffet right near my apartment)
