Guitar Praise, the Christian alternative to Guitar Hero

I know that gaming systems are as common as cell phones and laptop computers. Many families have Guitar Hero for entertainment in their home and kids are hearing songs that parents enjoyed a few years back. Although I love music I have to think about what my kids are listening to and Guitar Praise has better lyrics and the music rocks just as hard as anything Guitar Hero has to offer. I've never heard of it and haven't read your article yet but I will after I post this. Guitar Praise sounds like a very good idea for people that don't listen to the music that is on the Guitar Hero game.

I read your article it's very good. But, take that for what it's worth because I don't really know much about the topic and I can't play Guitar Hero on the easiest level LOL

Oh wow, this is one of the weirdest thing I've seen in the gaming history. The reason people like guitar hero is because of the popular bands. I don't recognize any from the praise except Skillet. But then again I'm not into christian music. Maybe if they'd sell it without the guitar, someone would buy it.

I think the whole point is the action but its more about the music.

I love music, and that sounds like a good system. I do not know if it is available here in Winnipeg, I am more into piano though, but if the lyrics are better, it would be good for someone who is learning to play the guitar without anything offensive. So where can you get this?

What are guitar praises and guitar hero?? I'm really clueless about it.. lol =D BUt i do know about the instrument though.. hehe ^_^
BUt as u mentioned, it's something got to do with christianity?? All the more i wont know because i'm not a chistian in the first place.. haha =D ANyway, where have u been for the past half a yr or more?? U are no longer as active in mylot huh??

Guitar Praise is a guitar game with a guitar controller and a game that you play along with. I've been on myLot a lot, I just haven't been posting any discussions because I'm writing for other sites.

I will probably send your link to my daughter and son in law, as well as my brother. The son in law, and the brother are into gaming and brother is a minister. Shoot, my son in law and my daughter both have ministerial degrees as well. Son in law works with a church youth group. I think you are right on target. Thanks.

I didn't know you were on Associated Content. I will check it out I have not heard of this particular game but it sounds nice. We play Guitar Here all the time as a family, it is something we can all enjoy doing together, but to have more family friendly music would be really nice. I will check it out.

I've been there for a couple of years, I haven't spent too much time there but I'm getting back to writing for them. I think its great that there is an alternative for my kids.

I checked out your article. It was great. I didn't know about this before. I am going to check it out. I like guitar hero, but some of the songs just aren't for me. I think guitar praise would be more to my liking . Thanks for recommending it.1 person likes this
