Blueberries coming up

I was in my berry garden and it seemed that the strawberries are taking over like hot cakes, but last year I planted a couple of blueberry bushes, just small ones. The berries were not that big. Now the question is I have this nice space for them, so I was wondering do blueberries spread and was I wrong in picking out the berries and eating them?
I'd hate to go and buy a couple of more plants since there are two varieties and I do not want to get them mixed up?

I have heard that it is best to plant several types of blueberry bushes together. Not too certain why though. You should wait a year before picking the berries though.

I was going to buy some bushes this year, but decided that I will wait until I can get enough funds to purchase at least six.

We only have room for four bushes in our garden and I can only buy two at a time. That will give me enough, but until then I will have to buy the frozen kind.

You can mix blueberry bushes. It will not hurt. Also after a little while you will see babby bushes come up. I had 4 bushes to begin with. Now I got about 15 bushes. This has been about 8 years ago when I planted these.

I think I will get some more bushes. The ones I got did not make it. We were out of the house for three weeks and the neighbors threw stuff over the fence, the neighborhood dog went in the yard, etc. If I see them sprouting up in the spring, it will be a miracle.

I think blueberries are bushes. I think all berries you are supposed to pick the berries off of so that they do not try to set seed. Good luck.

I was thinking if you want more blueberries you just let the seeds fall to the ground. I want more blueberries, not less.

It rains a lot here in summer and we have quite rich boggy soil. So it seems the blueberries do well here.

I know rasberries spread like crazy but not sure about blueberries - I miss my strawberries, thinking of getting a few and growing them in pots so when I finally get my own place again will have at least a few to start with.

Last year it was not that good and the weather was wonderful. This year, I have more bushes but the weather will not be that good, so probably will have very green ones.
