i still can get best responses !!

Good job! I don't think people are grading your spelling and grammer here on mylot when they award best responses. Most of us are looking for someone who put thought into what they wrote, and this is something you can get a better idea by reading the content. If someone whipped of a 1 or 2 word response to me, I wouldn't rate them at all. But, if they obviously put some thought into writing their response... then a few spelling errors is not going to keep me from giving them what they well deserve. I don't know how many best responses I've got. But I do know I just got 2 today, and it made me feel honored to have got them.

hi there, whats good about mylot is that you dont have to be welll in writing english as long as the thought gets through the readers, meaning if its understood its ok. =)

Wow! 6 best responses is a lot, to me at least. I believe members here are not weighing on the standard of English of the responses to award the best response. It is your content which you contributed to the discussion that counts. Keep it up! I don't remember how many best responses I've got so far. But I know I didn't receive many.

great man , i am also not good in english , i didnt know the meaning of many words , sometimes i found hard how to write the sentence . but still i put my full strength to make it attracting & helpfull content . i am also happy that other ignored my these mistakes & i got 3 best responses till today.

Hi, good for you the last time i check i have only 1 best response :D. Its good that its not the system of mylot that decides the best response but the users base on their understanding of each responds.

I only got 1 best response with my posts right now.. but i got that best response from the first day joining here on myLot.. I think it's not a problem when you have grammatical errors here.. most important is that you express your thoughts..

Janiceines! Congratulations for doing a nice job. Getting six best responses is a good accomplishment. It is the ideas and thoughts and not not English, grammar or punctuation that will make a good writing. You have posted so many entries and you still seem to have more potential to do so. Keep it up!

im not sure how many i have but i dont get best responses very much.i spell things wrong on here all the time:( its not really how your english is....its how you explain your answer.whether you made a good response or not.good luck and God bless.

Grammar can help but if you have a good opinion or thought about a topic that will give you the credit.

I think you are getting those best response with even you knowing it. but the way you speak isn't important but the idea you had contribute to the discussion. and that's probably the reason why you got six best response. keep up the Good work Janiceines. really nice work. Well, I have some of best responses and I believe it is because I helped the writer with something that is very useful to him. It doesn't really matter if you're not really an expert in grammar. What matter is how eager are you to share something that might help others.

Congratulations on your best responses! You can tell your daughter that there are many people in the US who were born into communities where they spoke English and then went to school and even college and yet they still have terrible grammar and can not spell.

congratulations on that. lol on what your daughter said -- "did you go to school" i think people here rate us not because of perfect spelling and grammar but because of how they were able to relate to our responses. this is what's great about this site, even if we are wrong in grammar, and make a lot of spelling mistakes it's ok here, as long as those that reads it understand what we are trying to say. i have more than 5...

hey i've just started, and i have remarkable english skills, nothing against you. i already have 1 best response, which i think is amazing, considering when i started was yesterday. hopefully you can get some more skills as you read more and more on mylot and then you can get more best responses. I am not sure how many best responses I have gotten but I think that while their may be grammatical errors in your writing, it's still understandable and one can not assume that they will or want to learn fast or at all about a language. The fact that your trying is commendable, I know English is said to be the toughest language!

I also have a problem with spelling and grammar and my daughter tells me the same thing especially when she needs help with her homework. I feel bad sometimes but I tell her that I forgot since it has been years since I whent to school. But that's the way she is when she wants the right answer and when I don't know she will tell me something like "did you go to school", "did you ever pay any attention in class". And about the question "how many best responses you have got?" I have no idea because I'm new to mylot and I don't know how it all works.

Don't get stress with that, nobody is perfect. The important thing, here you could share your thought with other. May be solve your hard problem. If you post here, I believe somebody will answer you. So, don't to obsessive with best response, or how much star above your avatar. Just go with the flow. Enjoying myLot is much much better than obsessed with myLot
