Writing skills are very Important, don't you agree?

You just said so yourself. You have visited other blogs with high rates of visitors due to the posted compositions there are well crafted by great writing skills and command in english language. I have also thought of doing that too but, I simply don't have the time to pursue something like that. If I was able to do that before, I guess I'd be continuing it up to now.

There is no doubt in this concern. Writing skills are very important. I am not skillful in writing. I just manage to write. That's all. For a blogger, that's the first and the most wanted quality he/she must possess. I have read your blogs and they are truly interesting. It looks simple and effective. But I am now losing hope in blogging. As I have already mentioned, the topics that we plan to write may be already written by tens of thousands of bloggers. But some beginners are lucky. They are easily earning from their blog even they are committing mistakes while writing their blog posts. I have come across many such sites. I want to try some other methods to earn money. Let's hope for the best.

They are, and there is no way we can go around it. A good command of a language means we can be articulate in presenting our thoughts. Our writings will not contain many repetitions which can cause boredom. Two articles may contain exactly the same content. The one written eloquently will definitely attracts more readers. In conclusion we may have great ideas but mediocre writing skills and a poor command of the language are not going to help us become convincing. all the best, rosdimy

Communication of any form is very important. Without this the race of man is doomed. True writing is a good form but speaking is even better.

I think so. I had my IELTS test and found out that my weakness is the writing section . it affected my over all score. The topic in that exam is not that difficult but what is very important is how you organize it effectively to be understood by the reader. Using it to earn money online I believe is not easy. there are many instances where they still prefer native speakers/writers of the language. Though there are non native writers who are successful but who are exeptional.

Yes, i'm very agree with you that writing skill and good command of English is so important nowadays, either it is for business purposes, online blogs or communications with other people. Having a good command of english and writing skills are for sure an advantage. Good writing skills can make the contents easier to understand for the readers, and also it'll look profesional with proper english and with the good way of conveying the message. I believe writing skills are crucial to make a blog be understandable, enjoyable and I've seen too lots of successful blogs having great and superb writing skills and ideas. Yes. It is indeed a good skill to acquire or to learn. It follows that if one is good in writing then he must have a lot of things to write about. Or there may be a limited topic but still the person can come up with a lot of things to say but still with good standard and good content. The contents of a blog are very important and I think the manner in which they were presented keeps their audience interested wanting to read more of their work. Visuals on their blog can also help but I guess what matters most is the content. If there is enough substance then people would love to come back to it.

I agree. Good command of English and good writing skills are needed for us to express our feelings, ideas and views as well. Even myself I hate using words repeatedly as sometimes am in short of using different words with deeper meanings. Good here at mylot simple words can be used in our responses to topics discussed.

It is very important. I hope to take writing classes soon I like to write and would like to write for a column or something soon. Blogging is great parctice for sure. But sometimes my content is not very interesting for the internet surfers. reading good classic litereture is another great way to increase writing skills.

Anymore, I truly believe that being able to speak and write in English helps you out in the long run rather than not being able to. With the big increase in immigration, there are so many people in our country that cannot speak the language, and I think that is a huge burden to the people of the United States. being able to write well is very helpful in everyday life. I actually was thinking of starting a business, where people could come in and if they needed grammatical help, then I could help them compose letters to businesses or things that need to be more professional. I live in a small town, but I think I would be able to do well in that area. I also believe that being able to run a computer is a very important skill these days, and just having computer skills will give you better job placement than someone without computer skills.

i do have really good english, and not necessarily because i went to english class. i have learned most of what i know all by myself. i do think it is important to be strong in english, if that is your native language, and i think it is good to have really good skills in english. i am probably the most educated in my family about grammer and english stuff.

Yes, writing skills are very important in order to get across what you want to say without confusing and without looking unintelligent to the person reading it. Chances are, if you submit something with a lot of mistakes, it will be thrown in the garbage and never looked at again!

I do believe that writing skills are very important but that's probably because I enjoy writing. I think that whatever it is that you like to do is probably what you think is really important. I think writing and reading can help you excercise your brain and probably improve memory and thinking. It may help with perception as well. I really enjoy writing because I just really like the way I can start to think when I sit down to write.

I agree totally with this thought. I have found one of the best ways to help cultivate such writing skills along these lines is to also read books by talented authors and take careful note of how they write while doing so. I really like Alexander McCall-Smith (he writes the Number 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series). His writing might sound simple, but when you read his prose you see how well he puts everything together, following all the rules, and makes all of his stories and characters so interesting at the same time.

But, I think that it is important to specify that writing skills are most important for online work... which I feel you did quite nicely. Good job! I am more of a writer by nature, but I am also far from perfect in my craft. I used to study it all the time, but with life and stress I sort of lost my passion. Now, I must rebuild my passion and try to again build my writing skills. Thank you for reminding me again, why this is so important.

Yes I think it is important to have a good English to be successful in the corporate world. I still struggling to write and speak a good English. It is difficult if you are not a native speaker but I still try. That's why I don't have a courage to have a blog because my grammar is poor. I think if I'm very confident to speak English I can enter the corporate world but sad to say I'm not.
