Meeting myLot friends in person

Good to know that some Mylotters are getting together...I would like to meet few people from Mylott is I have a chance...good for you guys to arrange the meeting... Have a good time! HUGS

I haven't met anyone from myLot yet, but I do hope to. I'm also a member of a game site, Pogo, where I have many long time friends, some as long as 8 years. There's several friends there that I've had the pleasure of meeting, one of whom I ended up marrying.

Hi Grandpa Bob... I've only met one friend from mylot and it was a quick meeting just to pick up Tigger few years back. We've talked about a get together a few times since but never happened. She lives about 3 1/2hr. southwest of me. She no longer comes here being she got harassed for speaking her mind alot so decided to just leave.

I personally know one person on here and have known her for over 20 years but as for meeting others face to face that I have never known before the answer is no. Palonghorn used to live within walking distance to me then she moved farther up north but still in Texas then to Pa. and now in Va. but will be moving back to Texas soon but doubtful it will be within walking distance to me. hahaha I hope you and GardenGerty have a great visit.

Hi GRANDPA BOB, Isn't it wonderful to meet up with one of your mylot friends? from a virtual friend to really life friends but I always say all my friends here are my real life friends, beacause you can talk to them about anything and we all help each other. Yes I have met a mylot friend as well, I think you know him, our Mr. Fish, he only lives about 2hour drive from me, my friend who is a member on mylot also knows our Mr Fish and the three of us met up, had a lovely day out together and hope to meet up again sometimes. i rarely meet anyone from online...and if i do i make sure i know the person VERY well before i do anything...you never know who youre talking to... :)

I have never met any MyLotters face to face. But I would love to meet any in the southern Florida area. Or if a MyLot would ever be in my area I would love to meet up and say hey, maybe get something to eat or something.

wow that is absolutely wonderful, unfortunately I have not had a chance to meet anyone from mylot but there are a few that it would be nice to meet. You are so lucky grandpa Bob.

I do not have very many friends here on MyLot, but I think it would be an absolute blast to meet some of them in person. My wife and I live in Central Kansas.

First jillhill and now GardenGerty...You have excellent taste! There is a mylot member who lives in the same city I do. In fact, she lives about four miles away from my parents!

I think I met PatGalca a few years back at one of the Regal conventions... At any rate, that's where we know each other from.

No i never met persoanlly auser from mylot community!!It may be because normally people hee coming from foreign countries in relation to me and so meeting a person like that i think it can be a bit difficult!!many people are from different states of the us so i think it can be funny sometimes have the possibility to meet somebody personally who was here on mylot too!!

No, I haven't met anyone from myLot here yet, but that's probably just because I'm still relatively new here - I've only been here for a couple of months (four, to be exact). I've always been kind of weirded-out by meeting people from the internet anyway. But I suppose if you trust them & know who you're talking to - it shouldn't be a problem.

How i wish that i can meet those people here in mylot. Its nice to know them personally. I want to share this. My closest friend now are all from the net. There this local chatroom in yahoo, they always organize eyeball so one day, i come to their EB and i met them. From then on, we become close and we even share apartment. It was 6 years ago. so i hope i can also met people here in person.

Hi, Grandpa Bob, you and Debbie were my first MyLot friends to meet. I need to meet a few more. Oh, I take that back, I found someone both here and on Gather that I probably met when she was a teenager. It turns out her Grandma and Grandpa were my bosses. I know that does not really count. I think my dream job would be driving around the country meeting my online friends.

That is great to hear. I have never met anyone here in person but there are a few people here I would not mind meeting sometime. I feel very close to a couple of people here and may meet them some day.

Well, besides Maggiepie, who I got to join, and Dark4eyes, I have also met the person I got Tony from, driving to San Antonio to get him.

I havent met anyone from mylot thus far - a few online friends from other places. I've met a couple people with friends and gone to play pool or out for coffee. I always meet in a public place and where someone other than the person going with me knows where i am. One can never really be too careful. The meetings at that time went awesome and we all had a blast. I actually met my boyfriend online - but in a slgihtly different way. I was hanging out with a friend and she said hey i gotta go to the bathroom talk to my friend You'll like him. She had met him before and I actually ended up down in Minnesota meeting him about 5 years ago. Again had a blast and well i did keep him lol.

Well that would be a good thing to be able to do put a face to a voice or words or however you want to say it..ha. I hope you all had a good time, as by the time your reading this you've already met. I've never got to meet any Mylot members, maybe one of these days I might. Some of them I know just live in the next state, it wouldn't be too far to travel if we ever got to.

Oh wow! That is so nice! I would really love to meet my myLot friends one day too but sadly most of them are on different countries. The closest myLot friend I have is in the same country as me but it covers a great distance. As in it would be an 8 hour drive or transportation time on a bus just so we could get to each other's places. We would have to have a specific reason just to be on the other's place and maybe just get the chance to meet up. Well, do enjoy your time with your myLot friends. It really is nice to hear of these kinds of stories. Makes me feel even more aware that myLot is a community. Take care always.^_^
