Summer Time - It's hot, sunny and great time to have fun for the summer time.

Yeah finally summer time has come around. I definitely have lots of plans. Nothing beats best for having a swimming pool in the back yard. I'm liking the fact that my body is getting tanned up, getting that dark brown skin thanks to the hot sun. I've been shedding weight off from working hard nights. Damn! But my left elbow is still sore from all that hard work. Yeah it figures loading/unloading merchandise, stocking the 24 pack cases of water, boxes of gatorade and such. Then going back in the inventory room condensing palettes to make room for the other merchandise coming in for the next day. Oh I can't forget that the 4th of July is coming. Guess what? It will land on a Saturday. Great! That means San Diego is going to get packed like crazy for every beach that I can think of. Unless people are bummed out about the economy or what not. But for us we don't plan to go out, we're having our own party in the backyard. Can't go wrong with the barbeque grill which my brother in law just bought. Nice one! Must've cost him about $200+. Can't forget the swimming pool, 10 feet deep to be exact, beer, wine and can't forget the 420. Gots to hang out with a few girls I know. Have to see which concerts are coming up. Just the typical get together at Starbucks, probably crash out during the night at their house. But hey yeah, what are you guys going to do in the summer time?

I am coming into some money in the next month or so. I plan on doing some fun shopping for clothes, shoes, household items we need, going to take my grandson to the zoo and several other fun places around town, and even some make overs for my daughter and I. Should be fun. Then we going to go to this nice little resort town up in the mountains that we like and stay there for awhile. We might even go to the coast more toward the end of the summer. So many options when you have alittle money.

That being said is true. The money I have well we don't plan to spend a bunch on. I know we'll be putting in some for the 4th of July to get our BBQ going along with some drinks. Other than that, just keeping it simple for the summer time. Have fun while it lasts.

That's cool! Well I have kids and the wife so we won't have any plans about going out. Especially for a weekend for the 4th of July? You know how pack it gets in Chula Vista. Speaking of barbeques we might just end up going to my sister's house and hang out with our family there. Make sure you put that tanning lotion on I'm telling you I had a bad sun burn like last month. Take care

Oh definitely I've been using sun tan lotion before I head into the pool. I just started noticing that my back has been a bit hot, but it's not that bad. I'm just glad I'm getting tanned up. Being brown, staying brown, being that of a dark looking boy I can't go wrong with it. Thanks for replying and I hope you have a great 4th of July.

Summer time is actually over here in the Philippines. Although it's still really hot (like it ever gets cold her LOL) the rains are starting and storms are brewing. We're planning to go to a local tourist spot here in the Philippines, it's in Cagayan de Oro to try Whitewater Rafting. It should be pretty awesome. Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

The weather has been ok, but kind of weird lately. The weathercast throughout this week is late 60's and 70's for the temperature. Not bad! I can't complain. I'll be spending time with my wife and kids. We'll probably head out to J Street, but if it is too packed then we'll find some other place to hang out. Other than that, it's my typical day job at the office. Well hope you have fun...don't do anything crazy like I would do. LOL

That is about what we do also. Yesterday was my birthday and it was very hot and humid outside. We got in the pool for a while also. It is very convenient to have one here at home. I want to get back in today also to get a tan.

we live in ontario (canada) and our summers are pretty short but fairly intense and although i have to still work, i only work part time, so i am hoping we are going to be heading to the beach quite a bit over the summer and curling up with a plethora of good books as well.

Hey! Yeah, having a swimming pool is just the best during the summer. That is where I spend most of my time . I swear I must of been a mermaid in another life haha! Swimming has helped me lose weight too , and just walking and getting out more. Congrats to you! Just try to take it easy as well . My summers are spent mostly outdoors from walking , to parks , to playing sports as well . I just love the sun

Yes... Its summer time over here.It is already 35 degree centigrade and it is very hot, humid and uncomfortable. The scorching sun takes almost half the fluid of your body....I don't like the summers for this reason.. So,I have no plans yet. I prefer sitting at home and sleeping a lot and apart from this I would like to enjoy load of fruits with lots of cold drinks ..But it is near to impossible as I will have to go to work.

well here in Philippines even it's summer time still raining nowadays, 'lil bit hot during noon time but heavy rainfall on the afternoon until morning, it's good to have a rain shower and play like before, long time ago when i was still six to nine years old, kinda unforgettable memories during my childhood, some pictures remains as our friendship souvenir, full undressed! recently with my family we are planning to visit our relatives who live in an island near the beautiful beaches here this island is known as the Garden City of Samal here in Davao. we use to bring some foods from here in the city as 'PASALUBONG" or gift, and "baon" prepared foods for our own consumption, traditionally we bought "paham", an arabic term, "kamanyan in Cebuano" pertaining to a candle like use in bornfire that produces good smell when melt in fire, this is believed to be a potion to avoid bad spirits or negative forces. Close family ties is one of our purpose in doing this activity every summer season because normally kids are free, vacation from school.thank you for a nice topic you've started.:)

I will probably retreat to the comfort of my air conditioned bedroom. Once locked in that icy, cool relief from that awful heat I will, read, write, draw and watch some movies or tv. Besides that I have no idea! I hope to do some shopping though. You have a fantastic summer and report back to us if anything interesting turns up!
