It has spread worldwide that in today's news it has been confirmed that Michael Jackson has died from a heart attack due to a cardiac arrest. The legendary king of pop has been rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles. In history we all know Michael Jackson in his early childhood of being in a group with his old brothers of the Jackson 5. He also has two sisters such as Latoya and Janet Jackson. This is definitely the biggest shocking news in history, since most of his siblings grew up in r&b and motown music. Millions of fans, many of his friends that he grew up with will mourn of his lost. I would say in history we're looking at a huge funeral with millions attending also to include Barack Obama. As I'm typing this topic, already most of every news channel is already talking about this topic. Here are most of the updated headline news links you can find here: http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/Music/story?id=7931645&page=1 http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529103,00.html http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31552029/ns/entertainment-music/ It is countless to even put every link so this is by far what I'll put up. Are you shocked? Does this surprise you? I have to say I was a Michael Jackson fanatic back in the 80's since thriller. I would have to say also tracing back in the early 90's. I have to say he goes down as the legend of pop music. The biggest upset in the world of the greatest to have passed away at an early age.

It is sure sad. I couldn't believe it about Michael. Been sort of waiting for Farrah. And what of Patrick? Ugh! I hate to think of it.

I agree darkangel...he changed things for people forever with his music. He rasied the standards for all musicians that's for sure. I used to listen to his Thriller album too..lol..I loved the video and remember everyone trying to do the moonwalk..LOL..It is a HUGE shock!

It was a real shock to me today when I first heard about this also. He was very young. My husband is a couple of years older than he was. He will be missed by alot of people. That is so sad.

hi darkangel, This is a real shocking and sad news that such a legend would leave us fans at such a early age..i mean 50 years of age is no age to leave this world and fill hearts of millions and millions of fan all over the world with sorrow. Yes i too liked his Thriller and esp the videos of that album but my favourite song of MJ is Beat it . I think it is from album thriller and i dont think anyone would be able to forget his moon walk ( dancing) for a long long time. MJ might have left us but he would always live through his music and may God rest his soul in peace.

Hey, I was listening to the Howie Carr Show (because I'm weird), when they broke in with this news. Howie said that Michael's sister, LaToya Jackson, was seen running and crying from outside the hospital. This is so shocking. I didn't know he was sick or anything. I always loved his song, "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough", it's such a great song. Boy, we never know, do we?
