Michael Jackson Dead At Age 50

United States
June 25, 2009 5:57pm CST
Wow! A friend of mine just texted me and told me that Michael Jackson died today at the age of 50. He was still so young. You really never know when your time is going to come. Don't you feel the same? I remember growing up listening to his music when I was just a little girl. I had a Michael Jackson poster hanging above my bed. It is so crazy to hear about someone like this dying. It just really makes you think about how short life really is.

Jackson's health has been in decline for ten to twenty years so this did not surprise me. It made me sad, but it did not surprise me. There is rumor floating about that Jackson had a genetic lung condition, a skin condition which caused his whiteness, and an addiction to pain medication. He suffered poor appetite on top of all this other.

Ues.Life is short and most unexpectedly one's end comes.I was shocked to see how so agile a person could have had a cardiac arrest. We human beings cannot figure anything out as to why it should happen at so young an age. God has ordained it .May his sould rest in peace.

Yeah, me too, I used to listen to his music when I was growing up. He was really a very talented artist and it is so sad that he has to die young. He was supposed to go on concert tour next month...

Hello singlemommy! Well, you are right. You never know when it will end. You never know and you really have to live life to the fullest. Have fun because it is an adventure. His music is very nice and very famous. I was pretty shocked when I heard it on the TV & radio. Just live life to the fullest & do the best that you can. You never know when it will end, my friend. I was shocked to hear the news this morning and thought that it wasn't true. But it was and it's really shocking and saddening. I believe the opposite of living is dying and everyone has their own time-line in life. You are right, life is so fragile and it is definitely short.. He was a great musical icon and has a kind heart. I'm sure fans all over the world will miss him tremendously.

I just heard about it not too long ago, its hard for me to believe also, I grew up listening to his music, it just makes you realize that celebrities are real people too, things happen to them also just like it does to us normal people.

It's a really sad sad story. I've heard that news on the radio earlier today and they kept on playing his songs when he was young like his hit single "Give love in christmas day". Well, this event brought him back to the public's eye even for the last time. He is part of history -- a legend!

I just read it on some forum and I thought it has to be a joke. I even felt silly that I looked at wikipedia to confirm it's just a joke. I'm still shocked and it feels very unreal. He was my favorite artist as a kid and I'm still listening his music from time to time. I've heard there was supposed to be a comeback tour and a new album or something. Damn shame RIP king of pop :(

I was in my tender years when Michael and the rest of the Jacksons got in the limelight. I always watch them in television. Whenever the news says that Jackson Five is coming in our place, or they will appear in a show, I will never miss the chance to watch them. His voice was an inspiration to me, to learn to sing, to sing from the heart. I remember the songs Happy and One Day in Your Life...

I had that poster over my bed too! I had a canopy bed and his lifesize poster was threaded through the bars. He was literally OVER my bed! How cool is that? I will misssssss him. Decades of art we are now robbed of. Rest Michael. I wish you could see how much we love you.
