Candlelight or firelight? Which is more romantic?

Definitely firelight. Call me a pyro, but I love a roaring fire in the fireplace. It is one of the best places to curl up with a partner!!!

i don't know, hard to choose.... i think i'd go for the fireplace.

i think that it depends! if it's cold out, then a sitting by the fireplace cuddling up is romantic, but if it's a sweet home dinner date.. then the candles would be romatic!

I prefer candellight. The fireplace has to strong of a smell and can make the room way too hot.

I prefer candlelight for a romantic dinner and a firelight to see a movie!

i prefer candlelight as firelight creates lot of smoke and you need to collect wood for it lol

I think that either one is romantic. What about having a fire going and candles lit. I think that is very nice.

we have a hotel we love to go to that has a gas fireplace (wish i could show you a picture of it so you would know) but the fireplace is on one side of a glass wall..and a swimming pool on the other..but we love turning on the fireplace and using it to heat the other room while we are in the pool..plus while we are in the pool it is soooo beautiful ..

I think firelight is a little more romantic, it enables you to lay infront of it and keep warm with your sweetheart...pretty romantic if you ask me.

The fireplace is lovely but the romance disappears very quickly when hubby sets himself on fire, not a pleasant site!
