I know a lot of people think that's pretty gross. I can't help it that I like it that way. But I like a whole bunch different k1nds too. Like good sharp cheddars and gruyry or however it's spelled. What are you favorite cheeses to eat and cook with?

I've been a cheese hound for as long as I can remember...mostly cheddar, but also colby. Ages ago when my Mom used to get commodities and one of them was what everyone called the Welfare Cheese. It was a huge block and man, that was great cheese. These days I still like cheese, though I don't eat it as often. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

I am a cheese nut, I just love it. I like cottege cheese too. Try this next time, its really good too. Put a little chopped onion on top and see how you like it. A few hours from where I live there is a cheese factory. I love going to that. I will easily spend $30 on cheese and gets all kinds of it. It would be hard to pick a favorite cheese, they are all so good.

I like just about any kind of cheese you can offer me. I like cottage cheese, with fruit, usually. I have mixed it with a packet of instant breakfast and let it thicken up like a pudding in the past, when I needed a quick meal I could carry in the car. Husband really loves extra sharp cheddar. We like blue cheese as well.

Since I'm from Wisconsin I love all kinds of cheese and have found this Buffalo Chicken Salad at Chili's resteraunt and they have blue cheese on this dilicious salad. At first it tastes like stinky feet to me, but then I went and tried it again and asked for a little less on my salad. It was great. But my favorite still is a nice super sharp cheddar...:)

Hi dfinster, I'd agree with you that the cottage cheese sounds really gross and I wouldn't eat it for anything. But I do sometimes like to slice up a mature cheddar and snack on it very slowly with slices of raw onion and salt. I don't really cook much with cheese except as an addition to the topping on mousakkas, but with that I add cinnamon too. My son loves me to add mozzarella to lasagne, that's his favourite cheese.

Hello dfinster, mousakkas is practically the national dish of Greece. It is layers of fried aubergines and minced meat in sauce, topped with a thich cheese sauce. It is really delicious and an egg and some cinnamon is added to the cheese sauce. Every taverna here has mousakkas on the menu.

Hey, what's gross to someone is delicious to someone else. there is a Danish cheese that I like called ESROM. It's a really strong version of Havarti. It's the same texture, but with a much stronger taste. In all honesty, it smells like someone's re-fried gym-socks, but it actually tastes quite good. LOL

That's funny....I was just saying that a blue cheese smelled like feet to me, but I guess there are other cheeses that do that too and to enjoy we just have to hold out breath when we take that first bite..LOL!

My favorite cheese is sharp cheddar but I also like swiss, colby and several other kinds. Velveeta is a good choice for cooking dishes that are creamier. I also like cottage cheese but just plain. My Mom and grandma eat it with brown sugar on it and my Dad loves it with tomatoes in it. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**
