Well, we took a pix of him Monday night, but I've only just gotten a copy of it.
I'm still trying to figure out this computer, and I haven't figured out the picture editor - if it HAS one, so someone else had to edit the pix for us.
So, here is Pong, with his swollen face on Monday, including some of the blood he was also drooling - hey, you'd drool too if they pulled all YOUR teeth!Just to let ya know, his face is down considerably today...
He ate almost 2 cats of cat food yesterday, and another can today plus 3 jars of baby food. He's doing well, he hasn't touched cat food in months!

they had/have Stomatitis, that acts like an allergy to plaque and makes them have ulcers in their mouth around their teeth. I still have one more cat that needs it, but I can't afford another round just yet. And Solo looks pretty sorry, but he hasn't stopped eating like Taj and Pong did.

I'm sorry, I just read above and saw why you had to do it. I don't get to see the whole discussion when I reply through email.
Poor little kitty!! It must have been quite expensive for you but I know you think it's worth every penny. Animals give us so much, so unselfishly, it's the least we can do to make sure they are healthy.
I hope your poor furbaby feels better very soon!

Poor little cat, I'm glad the surgery was successful as there's always a risk with small animals. good to hear he's eating again too it's worrying when they go off their food.
The only surgery my two have ever had (so far) was when they were spayed, and Gizmo did not respond well to the anaesthetic. She took longer to wake up than Tabitha and I was quite concerned, as when we got home and opened their boxes Tabitha walked out straight away. Gizmo was just lying there so I picked her up and she growled then turned round and bit me! Within a few hours she was back to her old self thankfully as she's normally a lovely cat. I think maybe they didn't give her enough pain relief and the anaesthetic confused her and she thought she was still at the vets, apparently she went for one of the nurses too.

Chalube went to the vet yesterday to have his owies looked at, his ear mites treated and his nails trimmed. He tolerated the ear treatments, the sores treated really well, but the nail trimming - well, lets just say that I barely missed getting bit, he went for me 4 times, but better me than the vet!

Aww--poor baby---glad to hear his face isn't so swollen and he's eating now. In fact it sounds like he's eating a lot...perhaps to make up for lost time??

I'm sure Pong is feeling much better now that he is able to eat more normally. It's funny how we think a cat couldn't survive without their teeth, but they manage to find a way around it.
Our 11 month old has no teeth yet, and still eats what we eat, so I'm sure Pong will be just fine. His gums will probably become a lot tougher to compensate for the lack of teeth.

Hi Elic,
He must be feeling sorry for himself, poor little thing but hope he will be feeling better soon, at least he is eating, that is the main thing.

Why on earth did all his teeth get pulled? Now the poor thing has to eat mushy baby food forever!

Ahhh the poor thing. Well I'm glad to know he's doing better. Sometimes we have to suffer with our little loved ones for a bit, in order to let them have the best quality of life possible for them.
I'm just glad to know you are a responsible kitty parent, and not letting it get worse and worse as many others would do.
My thoughts and prayers for you and all your kitties I hope they all live a long happy, and healthy life.

What a sweetie he is, he looks serene and very well taken care of. I hope that if I ever need my teeth pulled, that I look as good as Pong does, lol. Thanks for putting his photo on.
