Talking to my Daughter, she told me that her brother has been up to his usual trick lol I had to laugh as my Daughter does not mince her words My Son has a habit of Sleepwalking, not often but when he does lol he has to be watched He walked into his Sister Room last Night (Sleepwalking) and was about to pee on her Floor, she started shouting at him and asked him what he was doing, he said I need a Toilet, sorry didn't know you where on it, well he then woke up properly as she told him she is not on the Toilet, he is in her ROOM lol He grinned at her as he does and apologized to her lol So my Daughters question to me was, why do Men do that and do they think they can just pee anywhere? She then told me, that Men think because they do not have to sit down to do it they think they can pee anywhere, when they go to the Toilet they miss, I had to laugh at her lol, as this is my Daughters wisdom about it, no doubt her Brother will get to hear it from her when he gets up lol and he will just laugh at her as he does A few Years back he came into my room, lol, and I just said to him, Mike this is my room not the Toilet, as I knew what was going to happen lol and he just said Ok Mum, where is the Loo now remember he was asleep lol I told him and yep he found it lol So can anyone give my Daughter an answer to this???? Oh I put the polite words in here not the words my Girl was using lol as she sometimes can

Well I guess she is right ,, men do have that trouble and in India you can find them relieving them on the side of the streets it really makes me feel like kicking them in their b..utts At times when I just can't take it anymore, I do shout at them if they don't have toilets in their houses. No one has taught these men any hygiene I suppose.

I suppose since they can just whip it out they feel like they can do it anywhere...when my sister was on vacation some of their friends came up to their cabin....well they went on a pontoon ride and her friends husband just whipped it out and peed over the edge of the pontoon....my sister was mortified! There were a ton of people on the pontoon and it was totally embarassing! Hope you get some answers from men so we find out the real reason!

because they don't have to sit down and watch where it drips? Goodness, sleepwalking is one thing, but sleepwalking to go to the toilet in the wrong room? funny but not fun...

Haven't you watched baby boys, they come with a toy attached and it is one of their first interest in life. It comes right after food. This item remains a source of intense interest throughout their life. And of course it's even more interesting because at times they can get things to come out of it and they have the power to direct those things. Life is good.

Sleepwalking and thinking other rooms are the restroom? Wow!! Good thing your daughter woke up and caught him, and was able to wake him up but the questions she was asking is ones many women including me have been wondering for ages. I do think though you need to figure out something to tell her, but sounds as if she is really starting to gain some smart whits (wisdom) about her as well.

Well to answer the question of why they can not ring that huge bowl is, lol I'm sorry this is just too funny. My son use to do this, the closet or whatever...I would walk in my sleep too. Anyway, about the bowl. They can not aim straight because they don't pee straight. I asked one time and my husband was embarrassed but he told me that they can aim but it comes out like it comes out, not always in the same direction. And about the sleep walking thing. You are not suppose to wake them when they are. you just gently guide them to the bed, or bathroom if that is where they are headed. It can be harmful to abruptly wake them...I forget how. I just remember that it can be. You can put a stop to this, like I did with my son. Watch him closely when he goes to bed, when you know he is asleep wait for about 15 minutes, while he is in the REM sleep and go in to him lean down and softly whisper in his ear, "you will go to the bathroom when you have to pee" Say this several times in the same tone, soft and low. He should start using the bathroom within a week. You may have to guide him a few times, but just don't wake him. I know your daughter would think this is way too gross, and she might need to wake you if she finds him in her room again. But lead him to the bathroom and make sure he gets back to bed again too. If you don't want to whisper to him you can make a tape and turn it on shortly I mean within minutes of him going to sleep. Never put a negative word in what you say, always say, "you will" do whatever it is you want him to do. I know this works. Good luck. lol

Hi Moondancer , they don't live with me any more lol I live 3 hours away now I know she should not have shouted at him, but she panicked in case he peed lol I have told her not to shout at him next time, I think a person can go into shock or something when they shout at the Person, but not sure He does not do it very often (thank goodness lol) I shall pass on what you have advised lol

Afraid all I could say is "Yep men just wanna 'pee' on anyone at any time" only would use a different p word in place of pee :( Ok, maybe it's animal nature they're just marking their territory? It's easy for them to do that than to zip up after?

LOL I was really giggling at this one, twin dear. I do not have a answer for this, but not all sleepwalking has to do with peeing. WHen I was a kid I used to get up - sleeping - take all the covers from the bed, pull the mattress onto the floor - or at least try - and then lay down on the mattress. WHy would I do that? I haven't the sightliest idea, but I guess it made sense in my sleep LOL

I would really like to appreciate your daughter's mind. She is so intelligent. I think she is understanding things very well and she learns many thing s from world too apart from family. I really feel delighted when I think of your daughter. Whatever the incident may be but I think your daughter is such a lovely darling. I really wish her from the bottom of my heart that she gets all the happiness.

"Talking to my Daughter, she told me that her brother has been up to his usual trick lol I had to laugh...Sleepwalking, Just tell her the truth. Even sometimes it can go out of control, (even there's a part of splinter cell that involves this :D), it won't cause too much. And besides, we're responsible species :D

Your daughter is very wise although funny. Yes, men pee anywhere and everywhere. I don't know why they do this. I know a whole group of men that prefer to pee outside rather than walk into the house to use the appropriate room. And she is also right when she tells you they miss. I think that is a targeting problem. They just need years of practice. Maybe if we help them things would improve. We should all paint the toilet to look like a target and if they hit the bull's eye then bells and whistles should sound off. Or maybe the sound effects should be an applause track. A sound track with encouraging words might guide men to hit the target more effectively. LOL

I think that when we sleepwalk our minds are not working on a normal rational level Gabs. If he were properly awake he would head straight to the loo and that would be that. However, his mind might well tell him that he is on the toilet, when in fact he's in his sister's room. Give us a wall, or a tree, a car tyre even and we'll use it - but we do prefer proper toilets usually. Got to go now, got to use the bedroom, I mean the loo!

Lol, that was funny. Just like a male dog peeing they raise there one leg because they are afraid that the wall there peeing will gonna fall that is why they are raising there one leg. Back to the topic. why men love to pee anywhere? simple.. cos man want to save water and you don't need to aim on toilet. hehe

That is a really great story I'm sure it's kind of embarrassing to tell though. I share your pain, I believe that men do think that they can just go anywhere. I had an experience like that myself a short time ago,
