Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor is going to return to do some audio dramas!
Finally, he's BACK! New Doctor 4 story! Maybe more than one!
**picture Elic jumping up and down with joy!!**
as much as I love David Tennant's Doctor, Tom was my first Doctor and there's a general saying in fandom - you always love your first Doctor.
I was even honored enough to meet him once.

Hi Elic,
This is going way back, I like Tom Baker too but my favourite was William Hartnell, this is so very old, I remember it in black and white tv and I also like Jon Pertwee later played a part in the childrens tv series as Worsel Gumage, he was a scare crew, what wonerful actors, bet you'r excited, I loved the old Dr. Whos.

Cool. Ironically for me, Tom Baker was the last Doctor I ever saw from the classical series (outside of two espisodes). My first Doctor was Peter Davidson. Then the PBS station that I was watching ran reruns, and new espisodes, from every Doctor all the way around until finally years later, I finally got to watch the 4th Doctor.

well, he's only doing audio, but we can still hear him and new Doctor 4 adventures!
I wrote some Who stories, mostly Doctor 4 stories. At least when he left they did have a set up so that the show would stay on by his regenerating into a new "Doctor"

[b]Oy! Shove over, you! I need space in which to jump up & down in glee, too!

Yes, that breakfast with Tom was an unsurpassed moment in my life, as well. What a guy! Wish we had the wherewithal to do it again.
Wow! I can't wait!!

Wow! I am so envious that you've actually met him. Tom Baker was a great doctor who. David Tenant is probably the best doctor who of more recent years. But after you have seen all the series which Tom Baker starred in, it is clear why he is so popular and remains one of the greats. It is fantastic he is coming back to do some audio dramas of the show. Thanks for the info.

This sounds great! I watched the origional Dr who seris in the 80's notablely with Tom Bakers doctor. I still have some of the Paper back books of the episiods i bought in the 80's as well. I have not read any of the books since then, I have never lisen to any of the audo drames either. but I might look into that.
