A good while back i went through & cleaned out some people on friend's list that i never heard from. they never answered any of my discussions, they sent me a dozen silly discussions every day etc. I do this every so often. There is one guy i deleted that is worring the crap out of me by sending me fried's request. He knows who he is. I wouldn't reinstate him at all now because he is being so worrisome. SO wake up guy & smell the roses & leave me alone.

You're not the first person that's happened to. I know one person who finally added the person, told him off and then deleted him again. I can understand sending a 2nd request, they might wonder if the deletion was accidental or not remember you were on each other's list. But over and over and over again is a wee bit too stalkerish to me...

I think it was one of my friends that did that, and I believe it was the same guy that I am holding hostage in pending friend requests. He will get tired of it, I hope, and go away.

Probably the same as my pesky guy. I have left him hanging in pending, and I am ignoring him, because he spammed me, I deleted him and once he figured it out he has hounded me with friend requests. By letting he continue as pending, he cannot pm me, he cannot request me again, because he is pending. He never comes to any of the discussions I start or am in, so I never see him. Just let him be pending. It is a way of ignoring him.

Yikes! I'll tell you what happened once when I deleted a mylotter. She had just accused me of helping my uncle die because of my lack of faith and prayer for his healing. After a few civil responses between us, including one where she questioned if I were really a Christian, I deleted her from my friend list. I didn't say anything mean, just deleted her. Apparently she noticed because I then saw later she made a huge discussion saying stuff like 'if you can't handle my opinion then delete me from your friend list'!

I've had a few ppl like that on here and the best way I've found to handle them is when you get a friend request from them, don't answer it. They can't send another one as long as the previous one isn't answered. It leaves you with one sitting there but better that then having the same person pop up all the time trying to be your friend. Good luck with it.

Ohh my, is that your stalker
. I don't know if you have deleted me too, but i will never stalk you nor send you an email for signing up on such site. I have been receiving emails just like you. But i don't delete people on my list, let them be, it is easier for me to delete a message

i've heard of this happening and I don't understand the mentality. If someone does not want to be your friend, why keep pushing it. Obviously, that is only going to make matters worse. It seems kind of weird, really. If you delete him and he comes back again...just leave him right there in limbo. That's what I'd do anyway. Maybe he'll get bored and go away.

hi antiquelady. i have never experience such thing happen to me. though there are some in my lists who after accepting the request, they will send a message, and most are invitations to their affiliate programs. but they never come back to show their presence in any of my discussions. i am thinking of doing the same to my lists, "clean-up drive" one of these days...

Hi Anti, I can see that someone is really aggravating you with this request. Just ignore them and hopefully they will go away. I can't understand why someone would do that anyway. I was once accused of having someone's earnings taken away from them because my discussion was being deleted. I was falsely, accused this person told me that they were taking me off their friend's list. It didn't bother me not one bit. I let the person go without a fuss and have not bothered that person again. I asked a long time member of the site if this could be done and they said don't worry about it because if this was true why would someone else be punished for something I was doing wrong. And by the way I didn't have any of my discussion deleted. My earning was never decreased so why was that person's.
Take care Anti, we are going to make this thing work.

Hi AntiqueLady, may I shorten your name a bit? I do try to remember to do bold for you.
I also cleaned out my friends list and now only choose or accept friends who I feel make interesting points, respond back, and have similar interests. Now I delted the same guy a few times then just left him pending which is annoying as even his avatar is annoying. It may be the same friend as he is obviously as friend collector, never turned up on any of my discussions and I've never looked at any of his as I am naturally suspect of mass friend collectors. I think friends will develop over time with mutual interests. So just leave him pending because if you delte him he'll pop immediately back and if you accept him you'll probably receive a giant spam one day, along with 3000+other people.

Good morning thea, i do appreciate the bold. My name is jo & i'd love for you to use it. I think leaving him pending is the answer. I haven't gotten a request since i started this discussion so maybe he'll quit his aggravating ways, Thanks for your response. Have a happy day.

Hey there ANTIQUELADY and all others,
...who have seen or do see and respond to this discussion. I also have another comment I'd like to make and will, soon after I post this response. Because ya see, folks, I found this discussion an hour or so ago. Okay? When I first saw it there weren't as many tags at the bottom of the post as what there are now. Yes, I know that anyone can add tags to a topic, whether or not they actually even respond to a certain discussion. But on this one, as well as quite a few others... I have noticed the tag of dawn eventually being added... and that was the case tonight after I first saw this topic. So why is/was THAT tag even added, after the original discussion was started? Don't see how it even applies, mainly since THAT tag is a user name here at the lot. Guess I wouldn't even have mentioned this now, but have seen it WAY many times lately and have been wondering why? Perhaps some other peeps here are trying to start trouble with her? Hopefully one of the "older & more wiser users" can please inform me. Because you see folks, though I am still new here & such, the few contacts I have had with her have been friendly and she seems like a nice person.
And yeah ANTIQUELADY, in my short time here, I have also cleaned out a certain someone with whom I had NO contact, but sent me a friend request for whatever reason. As of yet I have not received a "re-invite", but shall that happen, I will also leave it as pending. Please try not to fret yourself silly over this. *hugs* I do realize for some users here, it can be easy for them to track our activities & perhaps rate us negatively if either WE are on their friends list, or if one of OUR friends, are on THEIR list.
Take care,
firefox333

Hi antiquelady, many are here just for the money. They don't realise that the rest of us are here for real exchange of thoughts, experiences and ideas. That's what discussion is supposed to be about. What I noticed too is that many questions are too trivial to be asked, and many just leave without even one comment after posting their topic. Perhaps they don't have time to reply, but there's also a possibility that they are just here to get the minimum payout and then disappear for good. I guess it's time to do some "spring-cleaning" too.
Cheers! :)

Hmm
.. So far there is one friend request that I'm scared to accept. Actually I was more of a shock seeing the guy here in mylot. He's not aggravating though but he had sent spams on my personal emails and I don't know where he got my details. I blocked him from my yahoo mail but now he is here in mylot. I don't know if he knows me and I'm not going to accept his friend request. I'm not going to deny him neither. I'll just let the request hang in there for, God knows long it could.
Ciao!

I remember those idiots once but they never aggravate me, i was the one who did it because they were insulting a co-mylot member. and back then for me, it was unacceptable.then, later after that he admitted he was a molester and almost every member saw it.in my case, i would leave him hanging in the friends list until i get him reported.
