We've been dealing with a puddle in front of the dishwasher (oh and another one in the laundry room.
Well, some of you may remember the saga of the broken dishwasher - well, we'd been blaming the puddle on the cats (I even SAW Solo pee there) but after putting a box there - it was confirmed - it wasn't the cats...
So, tonight the plumber (he's cute by the way) came and we have a leak in the dishwasher. So, he turned off the water to keep from having a more serious problem (because its spraying on the MOTOR...)
But, that ALSO turns off the hot water to the kitchen sink!
sighhhhhh
now we have to have those SEARS people come out - AGAIN - this time we've got a MAJOR gripe, and they are going to be fixing MORE than the DARN dishwasher! They are going to fix the water damage!
But, he also fixed the little leak in my bathroom sink too, so that won't get worse too....
So... how's your day been?

I have an easy and cheap way of fixing the dishwasher. Toss it! lol I've never owned a dishwasher other than my 2 hands and never will. My day was pretty good. Made an easy $40 just driving a couple cars to the car auction.

the former roommate doesn't like dishwashers, well, when SHE was washing the dishes - it was - whatever you want, but the day she told me "I just can't do it anymore" well, the dishwasher went in with the remodel 10 yrs ago. I HATE to wash dishes by hand, ALWAYS have. They make a machine - besides, where would I dry them safe from the CATS? I kid you not, when the dishwasher was broke before, we had to dry them in the dishwasher - and NOW I don't even have HOT WATER!

[b]I still don't like them. I have one, & you know I only use it for storage. If I had more space, I'd let you use it, but as you're well aware I live in a postage stamp of an apartment (one of this complex's larger ones!), & so must use the space the best I can.
I did ask the manager to remove the dishwasher, but when they tried, they discovered I couldn't use the space anyway, due to the over-sized pipes poking out of the wall. Oh, well.
Also, Miss Minnie cat isn't like your horde of beasts; she never makes "mistakes!" To be fair, though, she isn't under the stress your many animals suffer from for not being "only cats."

well good luck with "Sears"....Sears is one store that use to be great, i always held them high on the list but here in Houston Texas, would you believe that K-Mart bought them out? So now they still have the Sears name but owned by k-Mart and they are one of the sorriest places to shop....I found out how sorry they were when we purchased a chain saw, the thing never worked,it would shoot out oil,so they took it to fix, it was only a week old at the time,we picked it up & still was shooting oil....so we took it back at 3 weeks old & they said it would cost us $ 79.95 to fix, i said hey this thing is only 3 weeks old & we have to pay.?...as the story goes they refused to fix it so i would never buy anything else from sears......I took it back to sears and sit it down & told them they could have it back, no refund and it cost us over $200.00 when we bought it..I have never bought anything from them since & never will.....

Hey Elic! I know all about leaks! My upstairs neighbors have
a leak somewhere in their tub area so the "plumbers" (they're
not really they just work for the landlord) came down to
tell me they fixed the leaks, and will have to replace THEIR
FLOOR on Tuesday! Well I've had my floor replaced and I'm
wondering if I will be seeing into their apartment like
I was able to see into the basement! Then after they fix
their floor they will have to make a hole in MY CEILING where
the water was leaking (I have a huge bubble that's how I knew
there was a serious leak!) and I will have to have a major
repair (mess) done in my apartment! Don't you just love
plumbing?

how's my day been?
Better than yours, I suppose, since if anything like this were to happen to me, it would be the landlady's responsibility, and I'd have to tell them to do something about it, or else. LOL That's a real advantage to renting.

[b]You saw most of my day!
After you left I crashed (yes, again. That flushugginah headache was trying to come back). Woke up long enuff to take a stab at making your Friday List & doodle, which I'll let you explain--
--& grabbed the rest of the leftover tuna & had supper.
By the 'bye, have I ever told you not to discuss your wayward appliances in hearing range of my fridge or stove or shower? Well, just be sure you don't; I don't want them getting...ideas....
Well, it's your fault it's such dull reading; you hadda ask!

The joys of renting. I'm sure glad we aren't renting anymore and hope we never have to again. It sucked bigtime for us.

Oh my goodness! Well I certainly hope this isn't going on anymore. I see the reason this was at the top of your list is because you just chose the BR.
