Everyone here goes to the restaurant. We all have different tastes.Do you have anything specific while you go to a restaurant or would you taste diffrent things each time? Would you look for those different food items in the menu? Or do you look for the price in the menu?
Do you see menu at all?

Hi krupesh!
If it is a restaurant I frequent, I would probably not look at the menu anymore. More or less, I would already know what could be in that menu. If it is a restaurant that I do not go to regularly, I would most likely check on the contents of their menu before ordering. Same is true if it is the first time I would go to that restaurant. Well, of course there are times when I have to look at the price also.

It's funny but yes I always do, even when I know ahead of time what I am going to order. I usually know ahead of time, that's why I went to the restaurant in the first place, have a craving for something.
I also always look at the prices of what I am going to order or thinking about ordering. The prices go up so often that I don't want any surprises when I go to pay my bill.

most of the time i will look at the menu. this is even if i've been to the restaurant many times. most times i will order similar dishes. still, i will look at the menu hoping to find something else to try.
i will look at the menu even if i go to the restaurant for a particular dish. maybe it's a habit or it's just curiousity on my part. i look at the menu every time i visit a restaurant even when i know by heart what dishes the restaurant serves.

Yes i always look out in the menu
.I see what are the new or special items over there.I also see the rates so that it fits my pocket. If i am having lot of money then i don't look at the menu i just order what i like.I mostly order the foods that i ordered before and it had a good rate.I try to calculate the total bill that time itself when looking at the menu.

When I go to Old Spaghetti Factory I always have the same thing. Spaghetti with white clam sauce and a salad with creamy pesto dressing. But most places I have something different every time. I like trying different things.

For us it really varies. Our family enjoys going out to eat at restaurants so we have many favorites. At our favorite Japanese restaurant, we don't check the menu anymore, and we usually just summarize our favorites. At our favorite Chinese restaurant though, we always see the menu, but we order pretty much the same thing. We aren't very adventurous eaters I'm afraid, so we stick to our favorites. It's different when we're with my brother though, because he likse to order the unusual stuff, so he always asks for the menu and orders with no regard for the price. So sometimes we get shocked by the bill LOL!

Oh I always peruse the menu, especially if I can see it online first. I've come to restaurants before, looked at the menu and left. I'll admit that even after viewing the menu, I still won't be able to decide on a food item, so I'll ask my server for advice or suggestions. Yeah I can be aggravating to dine out with.

I love to experiment and I to love to eat new dishes. When I visit a restaurant I usually order a dish that I have never tried before. Sometimes I choose a buffet restaurant, because that gives me the chance to try many different dishes. I am very curious, and that is one of the reasons why I like to try new dishes all the time. I don't have a favourite restaurant, I and usually prefer to visit new restaurants instead of going to the same restaurant many times. I love foreign restaurants, and I love to eat food that is different from my local food.

Yes I do always look at the menu because if it's a new restaurant I've never been to before then I want to look at what they all have to offer. If it's a restaurant I go to every now and then I try to get something different each time because I'm a pretty big fan of trying new things.

We usually go to the same restaurant to eat. There are a few things on the menu I get so most of the time I do not look at the menu. If we go to a different restaurant then I will take and look at it to see what they have and how much things cost.

usually, i'll see the menu from the top to the bottom, except when i'm in a hurry, then will only ask for a specific dish to eat.
but in fact, i always dont know what to eat, therefore, i'll do my best not to eat the same as before,haah... @cwong77 (2010)

I love the menu.. the way restaurant owners take time to design and present one.. no matter if the food that I am going to order going to be a common one, I will still refer to the menu to see if there is anything else that worth a change of my mind.
Also, from the menu, we can have an estimation of what we going to eat, and what is the price to pay. Looking at the menu too, will be able to let me know if the owner has taken effort in doing his business, or just rather a place for food.
Someone who will have a nice menu, with the detail pricing and also photos, will sure attract more food lover than those just simply coming out with one. From my experience, if one that has put in effort in their menu, it will also serve good food, and vice versa.

Hi krupesh
I like your avatar!
Of course, I check menu carefully! That's why when I come to new restaurant with a lot of new menu, it takes long time for me to decided which one I want. I love to try different menu, but of course after I know what kind of ingredients included in that dish. Once I find something delicious, I rarely change my preferences of menu. But of course if my favorite resto launch new delicious menu, I won't hesitate to give it a try!
After I decided the dish, I see at the price. If it's reasonable or twice higher than I've expected I will still order it, but if the price too high, I will think twice

If I go into a restaurant I know, then I tend to be familiar with what they have and I will rarely look at the menu. But if I have never been in a restaurant before, how would I know what to eat if I didn't look at the menu? I would choose something from them menu there.

I do all the time, just want to make sure I cover every good food they have. And about pricing, if I am really hungry then I will not pay attention on the price at all... But sometimes I just look all over, both price and the items

Yes I always look at the menu. I don't like getting the same things over and over again. For fear that I might loose my taste for them. I will usually order the same thing maybe 3 times in a row, then switch to something else on the menu. I do always get the same drink though. A cherry or regular cola, or if they don't have cola then pepsi. I never order anything super expensive.
