Dear people, How about your option in studying or working in other country where you don't know the language, culture and about the people. Will you be interested to go there? What will be your demand if you are offered a job there? Otherwise if you are offered a seat in a university will you go and study there? Have you had those experience? What will be the initial steps you take if you are made to go to a country you are not aware of? How will you tackle in a new country? Share your views and your experience on this..... Cheers... Happy Mylotting....

This is an opportunity isn't it? But honestly I am not ready to go out of the country. If I am ready I will accept the opportunity and work or study there. Hope the opportunity will be given to the right person.

I know for us this is a up and down question. My husbands company is world wide,so if asked to go work in another country for a few months expenses paid we are out of here for a while.I would never let him go alone though,he had better never ask either unless he intends on taking me.

When I was in college, I am very pleased to find scholarships from foundation or international organization. There are 2 states I'm interested in goal, The United Kingdom and United State. To achieve that dream, I learned a lot and learn English language ..... but unfortunately, I never pass in English language ability test ...

Hi,if i had the chance, i would seize it.But before leaving for that country, of course, i have to study some cultural points about it.As for me, culture is a very important and influential part in people's daily communication.About the problem of language, well, it is not as important as culture. Maybe i can use body language or gustures which i have learned in the cultural books to help me communicate with the local people. :)

i will quickly grab the opportunity to go into a new place atleast away from home to enjoy my life and see new places. here people are born in the same place , never go to far off places and die without knowing or vevn seeing the world with their eyes. the life here is very boring and people knows is only work from morning to evening and sleep and again the same routine, no holidays, no enjoyment nothing. i would love to study and work in other countries as the payments or salaries would definitely be high than heres.

I have been working for a Company which is in the international trading business. That makes me travel to countries in different parts of the world quite often. I very much enjoy travelling. It is always very interesting to meet and work with people of different countries and cultures. Language is often a barrier, you are right. I need the help of translaters. It would be nice if one could speak the language of the country.

I travelled from Australia to the U.K. when I was younger and it was a great experience for me. We left Perth Western Australia went to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Jordan and stopped in England where we remained until the money ran out and we got jobs. I worked as a bar maid (never done it in my life) a shop clerk in a shoe store (horrible boss) and the rest of the time I spent temping in different offices in London. We were away for about a year and stopped in Thailand and Singapore again for about a month on the way back. It was a fantastic experience.

I have had the chance to work and study abroad, it has been a really interesting experience, and I am very grateful that I was able to in live in other countries for a while. I have lived in Italy twice, the first time I went to language school, and the second time I worked for an elderly woman who needed help for cooking, cleaning, laundry and other things. I the beginning it was difficult for me to communicate with the woman, because my Italian wasn't that good, but after while it got easier and I learned a lot. I have also lived and worked in Scotland, Estonia and Poland. In Estonia and Poland I worked in a home for adults with special need. I didn't speak Estonian or polish before I went there, so I had to learn a new language. In the beginning I didn't understand the conversations around me, and it was difficult for me to communicate with the residents, but when I had been there for a few months I was able to understand many words and I was able to speak (broken) Estonian/Polish. It was a challenge for me to learn two new languages, and I was very happy when I started to understand more and more words.

i think it is good opportunity to visit a different part of the globe and learn things. it is great to get to meet new people, mingle with them, understand their culture, way of living, etc. it would be nice to visit new places and enjoy the uniqueness of that place. i would definitely prepare myself by reading about that place and people on the net and the general do's and don'ts,etc. the world is a small place these days and it is not difficult to prepare yourself on what to expect.

Work outside the country much better than working in your country because on the day you discover new things, including positive and negative A man should learn from the negatives and keeps the portfolios for the day good Luck My Brother

I taught English in China for two years. I had no previous training and didn't know any Chinese. From what I am told, all they were looking for was "a white face" that spoke English. I would consider doing this again, but not sure exactly when this might occur. I will probably start putting out resumes again in the near future as I have not gotten any closer to becoming a certified teacher here and I would like to be able to get a job again soon.
