I am bored of seeing 'Can you live without' discussions. Here are a few examples - 1] Can you live without internet? 2] Can you live without computer? 3] Can you live without your mobile? Do people die if they don't have their mobile or computer or internet?

in this kind of society unfortunately they are destinated to die. obviously i am doing a metaphore. anyway nowadays we can't live without internet, mobile phone and any other kind of communication that humans have invented. the problem is the degeneration of the use. every scientific discover is good. what is bad is the use that humans sometimes do. moreover we could give people another question: "can you live without starting topics with "can you live without..."? ". I know it is a sort of paradoxe, but it could be funny.

That's a good one. I love reading a smart reply. Since it was your idea, you should have the honours of starting the discussion.

Ya know what I am bored of seeing? I am bored of seeing the discussions about how bored people are with the 'Can you live without' discussions! I can definitely live without those! And, I feel that Mylotter should be able to discuss anything they want and not be given a bad time about such things. We do live in a democracy.

Ya we do live in democracy. So others can keep repeating 'Can you live without' discussions. And I can start 'I am bored of whatever' discussions. Also those 'Make money by joining this amazing site through my referral link' has become old and boring discussions.

Up to two years ago the computer was something that sat in our front room, for my son to use for school. Then my husband told me he had heard on the radio that this woman was doing surveys,on a regular basis and was earning pocket money. So I thought hey thats something I can do.To be quiet honest it has been a life line to the outside world and being able to earn a bit has been very nice as well.If the computer went tomorrow I would be upset,I would survive ,find something else to occupy me ,especially through the long dreary winter months.I love my internet connection I would marry it if I could.

Yes, I am bored of those kind of dicussions too. But, people keep asking those kind of questions and many of them get many responses. They are kind of irritating. Sometimes I go through same kind of discussions, but on topics which appear interesting to me.

The phone quetion, I can seriously tell you yes I can and I do. In fact I switched my cellular carrier to Consumer Cellular. The reason? I had t mobile and the best plan they had was 19.95 which included 75 free minutes. Except I never used 75 minutes a month. I usually use 15 or 20 minutes and many times, not even that much. Consumer cellular has a plan that costs $10.00 a month with no free minutes. That's the plan for me.

I have seen alot of these too and I do respond to them. I really cannot say I am sick of them though. I like to make alot of replies daily and those are easy ones even though they do get old at times.

Well I would say they probably don't but its now considered an inconvience! But if you find a discussion that makes you bored just pass it up....I am sure there are many discussions that are repeated again and again due to the amount of people on mylot.

Living can be done without all these things, but computer, internet and mobile has become a necessity in day to day life.

It is easy to answer. Ten years ago. These stuff are not popular. We could have a good time without them. They are not necessary to everyone.

I would say that if I had to live without those things, I could do it, as there are much more important things in life that computers, internet and cell phones. I devote to much of my time to those things and leave other things go I should be doing, so yes I could do without them if need be. The only thing I can say now, that as long as I have them, I might as well enjoy them. Good luck toyou and happy mylotting.

Yup, I don't even bother responding to these discussions, because if they had searched the history in Mylot before posting these discussion, they would've found zillions of the same discussions already posted. I don't like repeated subjects, unless they are worded quite differently to put a different prospective on the matter.

I think that those people who say they cannot live without computers, phones and internet are afraid they would have to find something else to do with their time. For example, starting a hobby or having to go to a library to look up information with books instead of a computer.

I have no problems living without those things and Lotting without reading those topics. I do what is fine by me and do not have half the new fangled inventions that I am supposed not to be able to live without. I move on when I see those discussions which will probably go anyway if they are repeats. Live and let live and to each his own

I can live without almost anything actually, I just don’t want to! I think that’s what all these discussions are about; what are the things that you really love and that you don’t want to live without? Let’s face it; we’re not going to die without them! We may even find healthy alternatives...

yes, we can live without all of these because these are not really necessary for our survival and living. We wouldn't die without these things. Even though we would feel that without these things we would die, it is just that we are used to having them and think that it would be a need for us. Early humans lived without these, in fact, they only had nature to provide their needs. The things that people need to survive are just food, water, shelter, and the like.
