Is Anyone Experiencing These Glitches??

For awhile now I've been noticing a whole bunch of glitches here in MyLot land and am wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing.
1).Not that I've ever paid attention much attention to the "My Activity" feature here, but just looking now, I've noticed mine hasn't been updated in about a month.
2).Lack of emails notices when: friends start discussions or when someone replies to my discussions I've started...also, I always make it a point to reply back (eventually) to people who have responded to my discussions, but then I don't get a notice if someone makes a further reply.....I don't notice it unless I back-track older discussions and then realize the responder did a further comment and one that I may want to comment back again.
3) Chronological order of discussions: Rather than discussions being "bumped" up when friends have discussions and replies are made, so in effect circulating the discussions, they stay put. Since I'm not getting email notices when friends start discussions I have to either plow through pages to see if my friends have started discussions, or check my friends profiles
4). Link problems: Often when I start a discussion about an article I wish to share, I give the link to the original source...but instead of the link showing up in blue and therefore "clickable" and leading to the article it remains as the full website address--meaning a person would have to copy the article link and paste into their website address thing a ma jig (I know real tech term...LOL)
So anyone experiencing these problems or is it just me?

It's all very topsy-turvy of late.
Some things work and some things don't but at least the activity is functioning again and that is a HUGE help in getting around to see what friends are busy with!
I won't mention the PMs that don't go through either. I had never had any trouble with them before but this week that glitch seems to have caught up witj me too.

No, it's not just you. At least 1 thing in particular I've noticed is the manual back-track. I am afraid some friends might think that I don't wanna reply back. I did some manual checks and true enough, I've not received the notification for the comment and etc. Hope this thing will be repaired or what's the term to use anyway. I'm guessing more population to the lot which keeps the notifiers and other automation busy.

Yes I have to manually backtrack to find out if people responded to my discussions, and yup, with all the people here there must be a lot of "traffic" for notifiers

Far as I can tell, I'm having no problems with mylot. Now watch, I mentioned it and going to start having problems. lol

hi pyewacket I have noticed 1 and 2 and 4 a lot lately. I wanted to
vote for a mylotter's dogs in a contest she wanted to win so badly but the link was not blue, and I was pressed for time so didnt have time to copy the link and go through the rest of the rigamarole.

OMG--our friend is probably freaking out..LOL...somehow her pet photo is pages behind now instead of being second place

The one that gets to me is that the Friends Started list no longer lists in order of last response, meaning we have to scroll, sometimes through pages, to keep up with the discussions we're interested in.
Until this is fixed I believe that even the MyLot stars (they know who they are lol) are going to notice a drop in number of responses.
While they're about fixing that, they might add that process to the Responded list, for the same reason. If the discussions I have responded to keep popping to the head of this list with new responses, then there is far greater chance of keeping them going. At the moment they just drift off into obscurity.

Yes I hate that idea that one needs to go through pages and pages of discussions of friends started also instead of being "bumped" up every time someone responds..and yes things do tend to go drifting off into obscurity...real bummer

I haven't noticed any of those problems recently. Once in a while a discussion/reply notice ends up in my junk email folder, so I always check. I almost never look at the 'My Activity' feature, now I'm going to have to go check it to see if this response is listed. Have you written to myLot about these issues?

I just "lurked" over at your "My Activity" and yes, your response to me is there but the order is all jumbled up if you notice...like the first "activity" listed for you is a month old...scroll down and your response is above a response listed from three months ago....like huh?

When I looked at 'My Activity' everything was a month old, just like you said. My response had not shown up yet, I guess. I rarely use that feature. Usually I use the 'Discussions Started' or 'Discussions Repliled To' when I'm looking for something. If myLot wants to keep the 'My Activity' heading, it should be made to be accurate.

Yup, I'm having the same problems too... I was waiting for them to stop, as myLot has this type of crashes from time to time, and it seems now I'm getting notified properly when I get comments or when my friends start discussions. I'm also having the "link" problem, but I haven't started a link-containing discussion lately, so I don't know if that's been fixed.

Here! Here! Here! Yesssss I'm with you Pye, I'm having all those glitches as well and wonder if mylot had included them in the update. I pray not for it's a pain in the rear end!! ARG!!

Yes, I don't get a notification that fellow mylotters have re-replied to one of my discussions either. I wonder if the system just doesn't pick them up. I don't have to check for discussion set up by friends on here but do have to check the other or see it as I go about answering others. Hmmm. Wonder what can be done if anything.

That's why it surprises me when I go back to older discussions and only then notice a new reply from someone...I remember we USED to get an email notice each and every time someone responded further

I’ve noticed ‘My Activity’ has been fixed. My main gripe is with further comments to my responses. I have missed replying to some people because; unless I go back and look through my discussion I have no way of noticing they are even there!

Hi pyewacket, I didn't even realise we had an activity sorted facility until a couple of days ago when people were complaining it wasn't working so didn't miss that one at all.
I don't do links either but have been getting frustrated by the unclikable links I keep receiving with the inevitabe 'you'll have to C & P that one', so thanks, it sounds dreadfully boring and will probably take someone hours to explain how to do it anyway.
Friends stuck at page 10 is annoying as sometimes when I'm playing catch up I'll delete some from my mail box to make room and think I'll respond tomorrow through friends started but then can't access them.
Alerts are just ridiculous as so sporadic, when you recieve a few together it is automatic to presume they are working whilst in actual fact only half of them probably are.

Unfortunatley I don't know. I just got done fixing my computer after a week of problems. I hope to catch up here on mylot, so I hope I don't run into any problems, because I just may have to slap my computer silly and it will be mylots fault lol.
