When I started collecting airmiles, I installed a toolbar, with a promise from the site that a certain amount of searches would earn me a few extra miles. I know these things are not credited right away, and I'm a pretty skeptical person until I've seen some kind of proof, but I thought 'what do i have to lose?' and di it anyway. Well, a few minutes ago I looked at my balance in the tool bar, and it had gone from 161 to 166. Huh? Where did those come from? I went to the airmiles site, and checked my statement. Seems that I'd done 50 searches in August, and they were credited just tonight. Seems they catch up with those in the middle of the month, not at the end like they do with shopping. So I got a nice surprise, and proof that it does work. I am saving my airmiles for a vacation.
Did you get any little windfalls, or extra bonuses today? Please tell me about your good fortune.

No real bonuses or windfalls today that I am awar4e of. MyPoints continually updates, so it is not so strange to see my points increase from searches there. I am not sure what I am saving for there, maybe for Christmas.

Those air miles are credited as soon as you do 50 searches. It has nothing to do with the time of the month, so to speak. Your airmiles balance should actually show up on your toolbar and will even credit you when you make a purchase where you acquire airmiles. Be sure to shop online at the airmiles store. There is a link on the tool bar that says "shop online".

Unfortunately no good fortune today but then again, no bad fortune either so, it's been not too bad today. I finished writing an article for Associated Content on gypsy Halloween costumes. I even drew a picture to go along with the article. It takes me forever to finish an article so maybe that was my good fortune for today!
That's pretty cool about the air miles, the searches turning into air miles for you. Let's hope you get plenty more air miles!!

Sounds good but I'm kinda paranoid about making money this way. With installing toolbar you could install a little spywares as well and you could lost more than you've earned. It could be legit of course but I'm staying away from it just in case

I installed that toolbar - it stopped counting miles for me at the beginning of august and i gave up asking for help. The miles i collected in july did apply to my account recently but i never did get to collect any in august or september.
So far no windfalls or bonuses today. I'd love to get some of those lol.

I had a small "bonus" today! As we bowl, we play poker. I won 2 of the 3 games of poker tonight, which sure doesn't happen that often. I came home with $3 more than I started out with!! Not miuch but still more than I had.......I used 2 of it to buy my lottery tickets for tonight's drawing.
