Is There Anything You Can't Find On Ebay? :) I'm So Excited!!!

I love eBay!!!
I'm Danish-Canadian (literally, it's not just a screen name, I'm half Danish, half Canadian) and my husband is Russian-American. We really love to give the little children in our lives gifts that reflect our cultures, and other cultures that fascinate us. These children are our nieces, nephews, and my cousin's baby. This year, we're getting the two oldest children (ages 9 and 6) Russian nesting dolls. I've wanted to do this for a while, but somehow never got around to it. I guess I just coudln't find them. Well, we went on eBay tonight, and found the cutest little sets (a pink set and a blue one). They're really really cute, and we are really really praying that we win them. I think it's so great what we can find on eBay that we really can't find anywhere else.
What interesting thing did you find on eBay lately?
BTW, if you're Canadian and with Airmiles, or Aeroplan, go to their websites, and you'll find that ebay.ca is an affiliate. EARN POINTS!!!! I'm going in through the Aeroplan site to earn Aeroplan points, but paying with my Air Miles credit card, so I can earn miles too. :)

I have never actually shopped on Ebay before. I have heard too many bad things about the sellers on there. I prefer to do my shopping on Amazon.com instead. They have free shipping and their fees for other things are much lower.

I went on ebay last night to see if I could maybe bundle a few things together and try to sell them. Well, I just got two pet hermit crabs about a week ago and I was searching to see what things I could sell that I did not need for their care as I had already had a few things at home or I had purchased something different.
Well, I found a woman that actually sells some treats for them that aren't expensive like the stores would be that she makes herself. So, I actually bid on one package but someone outbid me at the last moment while I was away so I just bought one of the other packages that she had. I'm quite amused that I was able to find those on ebay.

I don't think there is much you can't find on ebay these days, it's like a HUGE yard sale...I know I am putting alot of my unwanted stuff that is still in pretty good condition on ebay instead of having a garage sale myself as I have to move soon & so I am going thorugh all of my stuff to try & spring clean/declutter so to speak before I move & whatever doesn't sell is going to freecycle...I bet you could even find a toilet seat or kitchen sink on ebay lol.

Yes, i have found tings that weren't on ebay but the thing I wanted was banned (ever heard of Ghettopoly?). I mainly get jewelry from china o there and i don't mind the wait. I get them for fairly good deals and only once did I not get an item from china but the seller quickly refunded my money (ALWAYS get insurance on an item). There are such nice things on them but sometimes I wonder why people who have money get on ebay if they were going to pay retail price anyway. I would love to see some of the items that represent you and your husbands culture. Do you have pictures that I could see?

I have a friend who is hesitant to shop online, so I did it for her. Got her a 3 quart Corningware bowl to use in her "crock oven" she has been trying to replace a broken one for years. Not only that, this one had lavender iris on it and is sooo pretty. I got a good price, too.

Good you found what you wanted in ebay. I wish you win it. You have a kind heart to give presents to children and that will encourage children a lot.

Wow...a lot of mixtures in the blood. Normally mix bloods products inherit the good genes of both sides. I presume that you must be intelligent, charming.... It is interesting to blend both cultures in ones life and what ever you do should represent the cultures you come from so you won't forget your roots. As many says it is more blessed to give than to receive, your generosity speaks loud of your good self.
