I have a collection of my family photos in a album, however nowadays with the digital photos, all are being kept in a hard disk separately from the main disk. I wish I could have digital album as then I can store all my digital photos in there..

photo album - photo album just bought by my daughter
I place them in shoe boxes and wait for the time for me to buy photo albums. It is always nice and safe to keep pictures in an album. It is a convenient way to view pictures. Just last week, my daughter bought a new photo album for all of her pictures. I was glad to have them together in one safe place as I see her pictures all over.

Before I got a digital camera and a computer I would put all my photos in albums. I used to put them in the album as soon as they were developed because if you allow photos to pile up it is difficult to sort through them, remember when they were taken and place them in any kind of order. Nowadays I have most of my photos on my computer backed up on a disc; if I come across one that I would like to frame or place in my wallet I simply print it out!

Old photos from my family history had been scanned and safety saved and burned in DVD formats. Had to keep two copies through as properly sealed the first one on a drawer hoping it would last forever. The hard copies are still kept in the photo albums. Some have a story lines which was made by my siblings while other were made by my wife. It adds excitement to the ones seeing them if you put some dialogs on each photo, especially the comical ones.

i am horrible when it comes to family photos. i have them mostly in a few photo boxes and mot that many in the albums. they have been taken out and not been returned so they sit in the box. i think after christmas, that will be one of my projects, to put them all together in an album or two.

I am also like you. During those busy days when I see a photo of my family or even my personal photo I keep it first in a drawer and if I have a time I will buy a photo album and keep it all there. I have no time for making scrap book or accesorizing our photo albums. I can do that during Christmas though, but not now. Sure a picture will look good if it is in the album.

They are on my hard drive somewhere and I subscribe to software to automatically back up. Plus time allowing, I put them on my digital photo frame to cycle through in the living room.

I have mine in a box. I want to get some of them put into frames. Those type frames that have several pictures in. Then I would put them on the wall. Not sure where I am staying so I haven't gotten that done yet. Hope to get them frames and the rest put in photo albums.

I have a bunch of old photos of my family in a box in my basement...I need to get them together and put them in a photo album. I went ahead and made a scrap book and I still have about half of the book left that I need to make the time and get the rest of them put in there. I have all of my pictures on a disk now since I have a digital camera which makes it really nice because I can take all the pictures that I want and not have to worry about paying a tin to have them developed I can just pick and choose if I want them printed out, I also have my own digital photo printer which makes it nice because I can print them at my own house. I want to print out more for both my photo albums and the rest of my scrap book.

I arrange the photographs in an album as soon as I have them printed. That way, they are chronologically arranged. I have many albums now. But the past five years, my daughters had chosen to keep their own in their files. The photo album I had bought five years ago ain't filled yet.

The majority of my photos are digital, so they are stored on one of my external hard drives and also on DVDs that I burn and give to both my mother and to my in-laws so that they have the pictures as well. Plus, that way I am assured that not all the copies of the pictures will get destroyed. As for the copies that I have on my hard drive, I use them to make life books for my children. My hope is to be able to present them with a book(s) when they graduate from high school that will chronicle their lives from birth through graduation.

I intend to sort and put them in albums. That's my intention but I haven't done it yet. Now that we have a digicam I don't have them printed anymore because they will just add to the loads of pictures that I need to have organized, instead I store them in photobucket.com website.

Hello jj. We have had all the photos placed in our photo albums. We have a lot of photo albums for the photos. But in the past few years we have not tried to have our photos developed since we got our laptops. They are all stored in the computers for good.

Right now there is a stack of photos that are from my husband and My wedding, we just got back on Last Thursday. They are still stacked on TOP of the album instead of INSIDE the album. Hmm, other times I've just put them in my purse directly, I mean photos in general, and other times, I've just not taken many! lol! When I had a camera phone I used to take pictures of myself, friends, and things I saw...

You know I was thinking about this the other day jugsjugs. I have so many pictures and where they are mostly is in a few shoe boxes. I have a few in some albums but when it comes to the pictures I tend to leave them in a shoe box for some reason. I feel this is a project I should try and tackle here in the near future. I need to get all of them in a photo safe paper in an album instead of sitting in a shoebox. I do have many of my new pictures on myspace but I know that is not really safe. For the last 2 years I have been taking most of my photos with my cell phone so I guess I need to invest in a camera and start really preserveing the memories. Take care and happy mylotting to you.

Hi jugsjugs: Being completely honest i put them on a photo album and never see them again, but their good memories, you'll never know when will come the time where you'd want to remember those lovely days with your family on vacations or in a special date.
