Have you ever fought with your brother?

Hi Govijo, Our parents trained us to love, respect and support each other as brothers and sisters. We had petty quarrels when were kids but not as we grow old. We are always here for each other!

Hi govijo Unfortunately I do not have a brother with whom I can fight and long for one. So i imagine every male, otherthan my DH and sons, are my brothers. Indeed fighting with siblings makes our relationship stronger.

when we were younger we fought all the time,i used to chase him and throw stuff at him,and he used to chase me with meat cleavers and cricket bats,,ever since i left home we've been getting on much better

Me and my brother dont seem to get on, we havent for years, its not that anything has happened between us he just dont seem to like me, i think it might have something to do with my past but surely he should give me a chance now mostt can see thingsare different now. When we both lived at mums we used to argue all the time and would never speak nicely to each other, wouldnt even say morning to each other just walk past and ignore! I hate it as ive always wanted to get on with him but he wont give me the chance.

i have a brother who is 6 years yonger than me i fought with him frequently coz i think it increases strength of our relationship bonds get stronger this way that's wot i think

When my brother and I were younger we often fought. We loved eachother and spent a lot of time together, but we often disagreed and we often wanted the same things. My parents were pretty tired of the situation, because when we were together we screamed at eachother, teased eachother and tried to hit eachother. Now we are both adults and we get along just fine. We don't live in the same part of the country, and we are both busy, so we can't meet that often, but we always have a good time when we are together and we haven't had a fight in years.

hello govijo! i think, its quite normal to have small fight with our brothers or sisters...but not to talk with each other for that long? woah! there must be a reason behind... but since you already realize that mistake, i think its never too late to make up for lost times... you can still catch up on things and let him feel how much you love and care for him... on my part, i don't really have such fight to my brother...for he's 10 years younger than me! haha its either me who gives way, or he to obey... i admit i do nag at him and i sometimes sounds like our parents to him... but i thank God that he's not taking it against me and he actually listen to me and take my advices... i love my brother so much... and he's one of those important people in my life... i thank God that He sends him to our family... he really brings joy to us! have a nice day!

I used to fight with my brother when I was a kid. We used to have world war 3 at home almost everyday. We didn't get along very well at all. Now that we're older, we've grown up of course so there is a maturity factor that comes to play and we don't fight over petty things. These days, we just agree to disagree.

I had serious fights with my brothers many times already and I can say that it's never been a way of increasing or tightening the bond of our relationship. I rather say it can deteriorate it. But I don't let our fights stay long enough than a week. I always reach out to them first. Being their elder brother I think it's my responsibility to reach out to them first to keep our bond intact even if it takes my pride. shadow41

Hi I dont have brother, But my sisters were fought with me, since I am the elder.BUt now we three are in different place after marriage. I had not spoken with one sister for 3 months. I think fight wont bond our relationship.since we are far from them after marriage or for work,we are missing them, so its bonding our relationship.
