No sign of protest on my part Thea. It's not in my nature to protest until I know the reason behind what has happened. Then I might... or might not. It would depend on the motivations which I hope we will have eventually.
I have just become a pea in a pod (which was better than a cucumber IMO)

Morning...thea...at least it's morning here! 4:13 a.m. and have been on here for about an hour, and slowly watched all of us get "pinked"....actually, I shud say a lot of us....there are a few #7's....very few, that is! Have been bouncing back and forth thru discussions looking for answers. None so far!
Will get back to the answers, I owe you...Power stayed on...ALL NIGHT! Yahoo! HUGZ

I ain't no lady and I went pink!
To be honest the only blue I want to see is a lovely blue belt but I've a got a few years to go before I get that grade at self defence LOL!
I don't give a damn about stars anyhow, they should scrap the system totally because it only gives trolls the ammo to throw at people!!!!

With my very own eyes...I watched us getting pinked...and whited out! Gotta be a glitch! Yup...I would sooner be any color (almost) than pink! Olive Greeen is even better! HUGZ

Hi Shirley, yes as soon as Rabbit pm'd I went into that Sweden one, it appears that the men got preferential and went to 7 while the ladies all went pink, a colour I'm not too fond of.
It's a huge drop which we must all work on recitifying at once. We can't all have been trolled at once. 4.13, you get worse. It's almost 2.

Glad u brought this up. First thing i noticed this morn was that i had gone fron a 9 to a 6. got to looking around & seems like everybody has been changed, Someone must have gone on a spree marking everyone w/a negatine. Wish i knew who it was so i could return the favor.

Keep an eye on the number within your star Aunty, I'm spotting some differences here now. You are on 60, I'm 65 and pink, but Cynthann is 65 and silver. I don't understand though how a glitch manages to be a sexist one with the chaps faring better on silver in general.

Hi Aunty, it's everyone so if it isn't a glitch there must have been some very busy trolls around in the night. I don't think it's a glitch either, maybe a cost cutting exercise, but it is isn't a glitch then it was very rudely done without an alert to all. I've got someone on the other side saying its fair to make us work hard for our stars and do better, but there isn't anyway I'd change the way I do things. However not everyone has dropped by 30+ points.

I actually dropped two. LOL This is my first post in weeks, I only came here because someone on facebook mentioned the weirdness going on here today.
I had been a steady six for a few months. Oh well, I didn't like the pink star anyway, I am more comfortable with green, but purple will do nicely.

Not hiding Thea just busy, at self defence 3 times a week, gym 3 times a week, drama group, pyschology, self esteem group! Personally I think they should scrap the star system, gives the trolls ammo to use against people!!!! It causes jealousy and revenge ratings, it's open to abuse, that's my ten penneth, right I'm off to work on the pecs and the triceps LOL! Huggles from your favourite Wolf xxx

What I'd like to say, now that you mentioned this decrease of reputation points, is that your reputation is intact in my eyes, and I don't give a rotten bug on myLot's reputation system, as long as my friends think the same about me - I think this is how most of us should think.

There is also a good side of this recent downgrade of RP: pink is an optimistic color!
There was a band in my country called "Red and Black" and an old comic bit once said: "Further on, in our plant's entertainment program, we will listen to the plant's band, optimistically named Red and... Pink!"

I am in shock Stvasile at your lovely words. There are indeed certain people here who I would indeed think highly of even without a star, and you of course are one of them. I have a special affection for your herb problem.
However this is yet another event which mylot choose not to comment on, and I did presume an across the board paycut, but now think they are messing about with a new type of advert again. It is not enough that we have blue lines to bug us, we apparently now have walking surveys invading our boxes.

Mine went down too, from 9 to 6. I actually not being worried of this, but if it's true that trolls had attacked the ratings system, then this is something to be worried of. Is there really someone here who could tell what is happening? Or this is just a glitch? I hope this is just something that admin can fixed soon.

What will be the connection to that? All I know is that we earn for how we participate. I know I responded to more discussions today, with similar topics regarding star ratings, and know most of them will be removed. That's all I know and I hope I won't be shocked when earnings updates later.
Emergency, i guess, there is. But this is not an emergency case for the government hospitals here. The boil seems to be getting smaller, maybe that's because of the poultice and antibiotics' but there is still the pain. It seems it will not realy going to burst out so I really have to see the doctor when I have enough money.

Hi neil, unfortunately the connection is that we appear to be paid more per post when we have a high ranking, I noticed the drop when I was negged down from blue to yellow previously. I don't think we'll see that until tomorrow.
So your system would help you if say you broke a leg, but not for a boil? I hope you can get rid of the pain soon and scrape enough cash up for the doctor.

My husband's ancestors were Portuguese Jews who left Portugal and came to Jamaica because of the Inquisition. Most of them intermarried so it is all a mix up if many different races and shades. The Jamaican Motto is "Out of Many One People: - meaning out of many races one people. But you are smart and what I just wrote is superfluous! O.K, will leave looking for the parrot and toddle off to page one. I love the name (still love the husband too!)

Hi cynthiann, what have you done to achieve this special status when all the other tens have become pink? We have the same rating though I expect mine to fall quickly as I have an arguer on page one who thinks this is a good thing. It will be interesting to see who drops still further

Actually thea, I need to apologize to all of u here. I started a discussion yesterday, after a real long time. Mylot admin got scared - knowing the kind of lengths I can go to - so it decided to warn me, and as a result all of u who are my friends have got a dose of warning as well. LOL. Kidding. There is some technical problem. It will be alright soon. It did happen a month or so ago. So I guess, periodically we do need to face this. :)

Vandans my dear, you do have a terrible habit of feeling guilty for everything that happens, you didn't start this you know. I've never seen stars drop like this but it could be a ploy to pay out less money.
You seem confident we'll be returned to our rightful colours, personally I doubt it.

Hi thea, I didn't notice until you posted your discussion. I have to admit, the blue star is much more suited for your avatar. Remember how happy I was to get the pink after the green for so long, now I am a drab brown. I am curious as to the extent a "troll" will go, if it is a "troll" to be able to negatively rate so many, maybe only the most serious mylotters (the ones on the most or the most well-known) got hit, along with their friends. I thought there was some built in system in myLot that prevented that sort of troll attack. Back to star watching.. I do prefer the ones that come out at night though, they twinkle...

Hi lina, this has to be more than trolls I think as most everyone appears to be down, though no explanation has been forthcoming. Yours was most certainly undeservedly low to start with and the number within mine never suited. I noticed when I came in earlier and the Rabbit pm'd to say look what had happened to her star, and that made me go and check my own out. I am most put out to say the least, we''' have to keep an eye on the numbers inside them to see if we can get them back up to where they ought to be.

Jillhill, have you just wandered in? When I came in for a look this afternoon you would have been a pink 6, and now you'll just wonder what all these discussions were on about. It appears it may have been a glitch but once again we weren't deemed important enough to notify.

I'm hoping it's a glitch. But I'm glad it happened to everyone therefore we are all in the same boat on this one. The only glitch anyone can hope for is a higher payout for our posts.

Hi mommyboo, previously it was pratically impossible to regain a reputation after a negative hitting as they are much much harder to get back up than they are to get in the first place. Still you've fared better than most today, 9 to 6, but still not as well as the men on 9 -7. Personally if it is a glitch it's while some new adverts are going in, first time I've ever had one walk across someones box ever, which it did when I was in Mr misterwits box. Most bizarre.

Well, you're a blue 10 again, so hopefully is was a browser fart or a site glitch? I've seen mention of it by others, though.
The trolls may have slept off all their Halloween candy, too...who knows :D

I don't know what is going on I was a red 9 with a 94 rating out of 100, now I'm a pink 6 with 61 rating out of 100. I think it must me a glitch because how could we all go down in rating in one night with that much of a drop. It doesn't make sense at all.
