What is one thing that you have been meaning or wanting to do for a long time but have never got around to it or something has held you back from doing it? I have a list that is a mile long that includes yoga lessons, join a lawn bowls team, join a softball team, learn how to sew, learn how to surf, take cake decorating lessons and travel. What have you been putting off and why? Is it because of money or something else that you haven't got around to doing it yet?

HI coffee, Guess there are a few things I haven't got round to doing and at this precise moment one of them is xmas shopping am only just writing cards out...also would love to do more mylotting but am not able to because of certain situations at the moment and also I miss my friends here. If I was to sit and write a list then there would be be an arms worth of the things I should and want to do but at the moment there doesn't seem enough time in the day..LoLo

The thing that I need to do first is get the Christmas cards finished, and gifts wrapped. my husband and I decided to get everything done by December 1st so that we won't have to be a part of the last minute christmas stress, and so we can relax in December. LOL I'll get the cards done and mailed on December 1st, and the gifts will be wrapped up and in theor appropriate boxes, so I'll know what goes where on Christmas day.

I also have a lot of things I've been meaning to do but seems to have no time or I am on limited funds. These are the few things that I wanted for the longest time: 1. Attend a regular yoga session - I like the to learn Bikram yoga (the one like you are in sauna) - Haven't got the time and funds yet. 2. Learn how to swim using the Total immersion method - total immersions' goal is to teach you to swim like a fish. Haven't got the extra time yet. 3. Go skydiving - this one I cannot afford yet as the lessons are quite expensive. 4. Go surfing - well I have to learn how to swim first. 5. Go scuba diving - Still I have to learn how to swim first then save funds. 6. Swim with the whale sharks - well ofcourse I have to learn how to swim first 7. Keep fit by jogging - guess I am just too lazy to keep a regular running routine 8. Go on a cruise - Quite expensive I don't have funds yet for this one. 9. Go to Japan and drink authentic green tea and see a Geisha for real. - Need to save up for this 10. Go see the Aurora Borealis and midnight sun - well still saving up for this. Well these are the ones that I remember for now. It is a long list.

The filing! I have such a huge stack of papers to go through and I know life feels better when I have that area all neat and can find everything but sometimes it just gets out of control. I can sit and do a few at a time but then I have to say OK that is enough. If and when I ever catch up I always resolve to never get behind again, but I always do. Grrrr!

I have alot of to do lists. I make one and get things done and then make some more. I usually get around to doing everything on my lists but I have to do only what time will allow. I pick out the important things first.

I don't have an actual list that I'd update occasionally, but One of mine would be probably to learn to play a musical instrument...There were 3 Musical Generations in My Family..My Grandfather,My Uncle, and My brother all played something (Fiddle, and Guitars respectively moving down the line!) It's being passed on,too..My Uncle's Boy Plays Piano and Guitar, and is in an Amateur Band, and My Brother's Eldest boy is learning Piano and picking up his guitar too..I started learning Scottish Bagpipes at school, (The "Chanter") but didn't continue when Shortly after We moved to Ireland..I suppose the reason I haven't learned is not feeling myself to have the creativity to express myself with Music,or writing music and songs..If I felt I had songs or music I wanted to express,I'd learn to play something as an outlet..You have a list,so I'd suggest you start with something easy and work up!

I have so many things on my to-do list, it's so unreal. I think the one thing that I want to do and can not for many reasons is visit my birth-mother. She lives in Arizona and I live in Ohio. I don't like to fly but with 8 kids, I can't really drive comfortably. That and the money is always an issue. I get scared of different territory and just dont feel safe enough outside of my domain. Meaning, when I go somewhere new, I get homesick easily. Have a great day!

My home "to do" list is huge and I am slowly ticking off the household projects. Ny dream list, mostly travel, I have been also slowly working on that. We took a month's vacation to Italy summer 08 and it was great. Now I am working on the sites in the US, for now, that we have not seen. This summer we visited places in Maine, Mass, NY, Vermont and NH that we have not seen. Next summer we are going more midwest. So much to see, so little time. My other list is seeing people that I have lost touch with, and thanks to Facebook, I have connected with many, again and have been making plans, some already done, to get together. My final list is getting my family tree done. I have finished the USA part, now have to start on going into Europe information to find my ancestors.

Probably top of my list would be to go to Lapland on one of those husky-ride/snowbike/Northern Light trips. I'd also love to be able to play the flute/go abseiling/tandem sky-diving/be in a pantomime/be able to sing and be totally outrageous to make up for the mis-spent youth I never had

The first thing that comes to mind is trying to get to my pictures. I have boxes of pictures and can't seem to ever find the time to sort them and put them in photo albums. I also would love to redo my floors in some of the rooms in my house. I just don't know if I should replace rugs or try to have them cleaned first. I would also love to find the time to read the books on my nightstand but just can't find even 30 minutes to read. I sometimes wish we had more hours in a day.
