Do you read the fine print?

I have heard several people complain or call MyLot a scam. But the thing is that most of their issues can be tracked back to the simple fact that they didn't read the guidelines. To me that is their problem not the site's.
So when you start at a new site do you read all the information that they give you? Do you read the guidelines, FAQ, and tips? Do you ask others if you aren't sure of something?

You just said a mouthful honey. I have been trying to get this through these youngsters( and some not so) for ages now. I get so tired of hearing the scam stuff and how mean Mylot has been to them. I read the small print too. Well, I don't, usually have to get my daughter or someone else cause my eye sight is going. I think alot these complainers think they should be able to get away with anything and do whatever they please. It is amazing to me that they have gotten alot as well as they have for as long as they have.

You should be able to zoom in on the text when you're reading on the computer.

Ya, I even have a magnifier on it. It is paperwork and sometimes my eyes blurr from allergies and I can't even see it if it is in inch high type.

I do when I join, but am bad at going and rechecking later. I haven't been back to mylots since joining but do know that there are some things that have changed.

I always read the "mice type". It sometimes has hidden stuff that sites don't want the public to know but they are legally bound to disclose. The same thing with anything I sign physically, I read everything! I wish they would outlaw the fine print and demand that it be in plain English and of normal size. I think they are already doing that with credit card companies in some instances, thanks to the new laws.

I sure do TLChimes. I feel at some point I try to make every effort to read any terms that go along with a site. Also I want to add that really in all honestly we need to read those terms more often because rules can change you know. For me I love mylot and what I have accomplished with it. I have been here over a year now and I have reached payout at least 4 times so I think that is not too bad for a little bit of work. I know some people get here and I think WOW i can make a ton of money and really they could but they would have to do a lot of promoting and get a lot of good working people under them as well. Take care and happy mylotting to you.

Hello my friend TLChimes Ji,
Seeing you after very long time. Hope everything is fine. Mylot is not a scam. Not only at this site, wherever, we are asked to become member, we havetosign as having read and understood. In my case, I go cursory and learn everything as I go into experience. For example, after opening y account in Paypal,I was reaing those guidelines forquitelongtime. Still I feel to read them.
May God bless You and have great time.

I know that there are many who have called this site a Scam, or a site that does not pay, and either these are people who have been Banned from this site, or NEW people who never really gave this site a chance. From someone who has been a member now for over 3 yrs. and has reached payout many times, I would say personally this is one of the Best sites out there to be a member of. myLot does pay, and if New people would learn what it takes to earn here, and do the footwork to reach payout they would find it is one of the Best places out there to be a member of as well.

Yes I always read the guidelines. I also read the terms and condition for many websites if I am purchasing anything.

tlchimes of course I read the guidelines faqs and tips, as I would at any'new venture and I would do so with the directions to put something together as
anyone knows you must have guidelines in snything you attempt to do in
life. Oh my that was one long sentence. sorry about that. I will watch myself
better from now on.I get a kick out of new ones complaining about discussions
being deleted yet admitting that they did not know whether or no their discussions would be deleted. so they seem to think the rules are not to be read just guessed
at. good luck.

I am bad. I mostly don't and I use common sense. But here, after I lost a few discussions, I did go and read them.

I had posts deleted when I first started here and it was then that I read through all the guidelines thoroughly. Typical of me; I have to learn lessons the hard way! But learn I did and ever since then whenever I join anything you the first thing I would so is read the rules!

I know what you mean! I ALWAYS hear newbies especially complaining that they've reached the payout, and they can't request it (but if you read the guidelines, you'll know that you get it automatically once a month..) and people getting their discussions deleted (because they break the rules). It's so annoying. I have to admit that I probably didn't read the guidelines or the FAQ until my 2nd or 3rd month here..But at least I didn't flood the boards with questions that they could've answered themselves if they had actually read it. *shrugs*. I get really defensive when people call MyLot a scam - because I know for a fact that MyLot, unlike some other shady PTP sites, is FOR REAL - and really does pay.

hi,tlchimes!I believe that it's definitely necessary to scan the relative imformation first.so one can know what he could do and what he should avoid ,and he can save a lot of time and enery and stay away form unnecessary lose.even if scaming the information, like guidelines,FAQ and tips cost some time, but it well worth.
have a nice day!

I agree chimes
those people clearly did not read the information that was provided
they have no one to blame but themselves
I read everything when I sign up to a new site
I want to make sure that I understand what is expected of me and what I can expect from the site
it just seems like common sense to me to do so
