Do you ever feel like you are suffering from burnout in one or more areas of your life? I do! Lately I have been taking stock and not liking what I see. Yes, I've made some changes in my life(and plan to make even more in the immediate future. If you have ever suffered from burnout what did you do to remedy the situation?

I think our lives go through phases worldwise. It seems to me they are fewer and far between the more we age but I have noticed my own equilibrium has been on a tilt lately. I'm scatty minded and several problems have arisen. I'm sure I will get past it soon. I hope so as I would like to return soon to my relatively trouble free easy existence.

Do you mean you are no longer on your own? Oh, that would be the pits for me. Things will change again my friend...look for the silver lining, find the bright side, this will pass. I've been charged for product I did not order online, they say I did order it. My bank disputed it and the company insist I pay. Then my car broke down and it was towed away. I will have to pay dearly for the tow and the repairs and I've missed out on a driving job worth $140 dollars but I'm feeling better within myself, not a whole lot, but I know things will improve Than you for best response dear one.

I believe that is the crux of my problem, Ms Tickle. I have been living on my own for almost eight years now, and I liked it! Lately everything has changed, and not for the better.

I feel like this all of the time. I work seven days a week online and around my home. when I start to feel burned out, I have to take me some short breaks from all of it and take time to relax and rethink things through.

That is what I've been doing, stephcjh, a lot of thinking things through. We might not always like what needs doing, but it usually works out for the better.

Ya, it happens. For me it never lasts for very long. My life is always always changing up. I don't often get bored. It is really rare anyway. When I do get bored, I find something to do to kill it really quick. It really isn't a problem for me.

I never like to use the word bored in relation to myself, sid, because I really never get bored. I'm always doing something. I am the type of person who has to keep her hands busy(even while watching TV). I think my problems stem mostly from responsibilities that have been dumped into my lap, so to speak.

Hello Worldwide1, Love your id name. yes, I know about burn out with workling two jobs most of my time raising two girls who are now 17 and 20. I do my best to talk walks to think things out. If need more money because the ex is not paying his support I work more hours. I did my best to be there for there plays and football games for band. I worked hard and felt if I live by example they will too. They have for the most part. I took lots of bubble baths and soaked when I was stressed. Talked to friend or two to hear there ideas and see if they sounded good I would implement them if not that was ok too. Talking seems to help me alot to voice the problem and here solutions. Sometimes not doing anything for the day and just pamper me helped.I know it seemes selfish but I always came back feeling refreshed. I hope this helps Thanks and Have a great day Sincerley Unique16

I can't find anything wrong with the advice you gave me, unique. I suppose my problem is that I don't really have anyone close enough to talk to anymore. Maybe I'm just missing some of the most important people in my life who are no longer here. Thank you.

Hello, I hear you on that. I am still trying to have 1 or 2 really close girlfriends and ikt not easy anymore for me and for you. I joined a church organization and they seem friendly enough taking my time on who I choose as my 2 close friends. Do n ot know who they will be. They do have Sunday school before the service and I thinking of helping in that... I am where you are at... it never easy I hear you. You can talk to me if you would like. I am 44 year old and willing to share my time with you and get to know you etc... plus I bet there are other ladies here who are willing to talk and be friends but I also know it nothing compare to friend you can just call up on the phone or go for a walk with etc... just to hang out with. Thank you for response here. I am here for you if you need to talk or vent. Sincerely Unique16

hi, I used to have stocks before but it turned out to what I didn't expect so I sold them out. I lost a lot but I made the right choice cuz after I sold them out, they went more worst. well, you are asking me about some area burnout then I just can't find out right now cuz a lot of things are going in my life and I deal with them one by one. It is hard for me but I am trying to make it right and not to make myself crazy either. so, you have to think before you do and asking for advice is a good thing. take it out one at the time, and make another list for tomorrow.

I guess, smileonstar, that I was thinking more along the line of when you must decide to just walk away from a situation rather than try and keep sticking it out.
