Have you ever changed your clothes in your car?

I have changed my clothes in my car. When I am in a hurry I put my clothes in the car and pull over on a country road and change. I see no harm in this. I think if noone sees it it is ok. People can't complain if they donot see me in action. Some people might think it is wrong. I feel if you are in a hurry you have to do what you got to do. I would never do this in public because if kids saw it that really would look bad for me. I am sure the parents would not be happy either.

Yes, I have done my share of that, not in many years, but when I was in college I had two jobs. The jobs were 1/2 hour away from one another and I started work at the second job exactly 1/2 after the first so I literally had no time to go somewhere and change, and job number one required a uniform while job number two required me to dress up. I would often wear panty hose under the uniform so I did not have to worry about that and I could just slide the skirt over the pants and then pull the pants off when I got there, but I often had to change my shirt in the car. Usually I would wait till I got to a light and then I would stop where no other cars would be next to me and then quickly change my shirt. One day however some guy did pull up right next to me as I was pulling off my shirt (I was wearing a bra), he actually sat there and stared at me instead of being embarrassed and moving forward which he had plenty of room to do. All I could was put my other shirt on as quickly as possible. That was kind of embarrasing.

Yes, frequently - usually in the staff car park. I have managed to perfect the art of changing "inside" my hoodie. That way it doeasn't matter if anyone is around. If I'm on the top floor of the multi-storey its easier still as there's rarely anyone up there

Back in the day when I was a lot younger I was known to change my clothes in the Car while someone was driving down the road even and we used to have curtains covering our back window area so no one could see in even. But unless it is maybe just a shirt now, there is No way I could consider changing in a car. Just not enough room and privacy anymore anywhere for sure.

I don't know of any laws regarding changing your clothes in your car as long as you don't do it in a public way. I have changed my clothes in my car many times, usually, because I don't have enough time to change at home. If I know I will be running late, and have to change clothes, I take the change of clothes with me, and change in the car. Also, sometimes your kids have to change in a hurry, such as for a sports event right after school or something, and so they can change clothes in the car on the way. As long as you are not making a public display, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Hi, tucker! No I have never changed in the car before. But I have changed my shoes before in the car. When I was younger, I was changing in the bushes in the path and some of the guys at school saw me. They teased me ever since about changing in the bushes. I have never done it again after that.

I have had to change clothes in my car a few times when I was younger. Usually I would pull off also on a country road and change there. Sometimes if I could fine a gas station that had a bathroom I would use there bathroom and change my clothes.

I know some people that often change their clothes in the car, but I never do it myself. I need privacy when I have to change my clothes. So I prefer to change my clothes in the closed room but not in the car or other public space except in the cloth's store.

Yes, I had in the past. My late husband picked me up from work and we had to pick the children up in school. I was in high heels, stockings and business attire. It was raining at that time and I had to be quick in picking up the children. So, I had to change into my sports attire (I usually pass by the sports center to play badminton so I always carry my sports bag with clothes in it), to be able to run and be quick. The car was running while I quickly changed my clothes. No worry about being seen from the outside, the car had a dark tint. I see nothing wrong with that ... it is just being practical and innovative, lol.

I don't use my car in going to work, I commuted. But my car do have extra clothing in the compartment. Maybe I would use to one day. When attending seminars and gathering, I do carry a coat in hanger together with neck ties. I am not use of wearing it, so I wear it before going out to my car in the parkways.

Hi Tuck. I did when I was young once in awhile when in the woods and have on long Johns and need to take them off I still will do that. I don't usually do this too often. I did when I was younger I had 2 jobs so I would take my clothes that I would wear at my second job and change on the way to save a little time. I don't see anything wrong with it if your on the back country roads....LOL. Have a great day!

I don't see anything wrong with changing your clothes in your car. I mean, you're doing it in a private place where people can't see you, so you're doing no harm to anyone. I must admit I've done it too, because that day I needed to change my clothes a few times and you don't always have a place where you can change. Of course, nobody saw me ;)

I think it is fine to change in the car. Only if your not seen by anyone or bothering anyone. Its fine to change in your car instead of stopping somewhere just to pull on a shirt.

I was still in high school during that time. My parents picked me up from school because I was sick. I had to go to our doctor. I had to change uniforms but since there is no more time to do it in some more private area, I had to change hurriedly inside our car. It was OK.
