what is your favourite musical instrument?

the keyboard and electric guitar are my favourite instruments since ethey both give out a wide range of sounds which go really well with my favourite genres of music rock and metal.

My favorite is the guitar. Not only is it cheaper but you can take it almost everywhere. You can do away with almost all the instruments but just the guitar and you can still appreciate the music. You can even play it when you lying down. So its more convenient, easy to maintain and cheaper too. Cheers!

I also love piano very much. I love playing it in my singing. Its seconded by drums.

He cher! Like all other i am one of big music lover, i love to listen music 24 hours which not possible! Mostly choice of music is depend on our mood , we love to listen music according to demand of time and mood. All musical instruments has their amazing place in music world among all i like most violin and flute ..

hammered dulcimer yes they have beautifull and distinctive sound...i remember hearing hammered dulcimer playing the intro song on crocketts victory garden. the first one i'd seen up close,was in indiana,at fiddler's gathering,the dlcimer player was sitting on a stump and hemmering some enchanting sounds. i hear they're a bear to tune. you did not put down a jews herp,my grand dad use to play one. i think i must have false teeth. when you use to play it first time,invariably the snap bar will snap against your teeth.

Ever since my sister started to play the piano, I hated the noise of that thing so much that I told her that if she didn't stop playing, I would break that "hunk of junk". As time passed, I got so used to listening to it that I started to like it and enjoy it. It was not long until I started going to music lessons and learn the piano seriously.

Well, its difficult to me to choose a musical instrument from big list of them . Usually I like guitar for its all type of version ..whether its acoustic or electric . But some times I love to listen some nice music on saxophone and piano also ... After all its all depend upon mood ...isn't it ? As some times I can like some local instrument also ... Thanks ...

my favorite instrument is guitar...because a guitar can make almost any song you want to...just by a stroke of the string..then gotcha!..you have it..

I would have to say my favorite is the guitar. My favorite music is country western and a guitar goes very well with country western songs.

I listen to all rocks, and punk. Hmmmm well guitar electric guitar, I like to listen from it and also drums. Any rhythm that makes my feet move. Listening to piano is also good especially when you about to sleep. Very peaceful.

When it comes to listen to music, my favourite sounds are the ones produced by string instruments. For example, piano, guitar, violin, etc. For some reason the sounds produced by strings always go deeper on me, and I enjoy them more than other instruments.

I`m not a musician but like very normal person I like some kind of music and I have favorite musical instrument. Like most of the people I like piano. Harp is nice too, the sounds harp create are so beautiful and delicate. I like bulgarian and scottish bagpipe too. Everyone musical instrument is beautiful when some real professional musician play.

MY favorite instrument is guitar. As i love rock and metal guitar is a huge part of my life. i am no expert in playing it but i hope someday i will be able to master this instrument. I would love to learn piano and drums too.

i love to listen to the flute. it has a deep spiritual feel to it. its the instrument of god himself and when a flute plays the winds of harmony directly touch your soul.

I have to go along with you and give several different answers. I love the piano but I also like the drums and some of the different beats that are given in the different types of music. I like a wide variety of music and drums play such an important part in most of it. I also like the flute and the harp in softer kinds of music and the lightness of both.

I would have to say the piano. Music always sounds amazing and live when accompanied by the piano. I have always wanted to play the piano but I never learned how. I also think Saxaphones can be really cool and jazzy. But my over all favorite is the good old fashioned piano and of course key boards are also good as well.

Some time ago I bought an electronic keyboard and I know that they have been in existence for a long time now but this is the first time I've experienced an electronic keyboard and I can tell you, I'm hooked for life!. I have been learning how to play for a couple of months now and I get so much pleasure from it. I'm learning how to play a couple of classical pieces like Fur Elise which was composed by Beathoven or was it Mozart! I don't remember but the keyboard is good like this as it teaches you how to play different kinds of music. Anyway, I practise every few days and it started from having a slight interest to now taking it up as a serious hobby! I love jazz music too by the way and would love to learn how to play some famous jazz music on the piano! Andrew

I love drums. In my school days, I used to tap my desk with my finger tips...just to get the feeling as if i am beating drums. Lolz. Some day I would like to buy one, but seems to be quite expensive.

I really love playing my guitar (acoustic one). I had this passion of learning music right from my early age and my family was very supportive. So i had this unknown likeing for guitar at the beginning but later it turned out to be a part of my life. I had been a guitarist in my college days but now, after starting to work i don't find much time to spend with my guitar. i hardly play it twice a month.
