LOL oh I bet that must really make the store owners so mad. I had this one coworker how got kick out of a book store, cause he decided to be student at the book store and would take his back pack and go do homework there, never bought a book and would just pick them from the shelf and read them through and through and hang there daily just to read the book. lol

I don't need to buy anything that I don't need, and I don't need to use up more paper than necessary. I'll just wait to see whatever it is on TV.

I tend to listen to hear what is going to be on the tv on the tv as well as get the listings up of what time things are going to be on.In the past when i have brought a magazine i noticed the magazine was never read and that we never got time to watch much tv as we had lots of company.

I am not sure. That could be a very good possibility. I usually just check the channel guide to see what is on. I rarely have time to watch tv though. I am usually working.

I usually just buy whatever guide is cheapest as I spot it in the supermarket. Then I'll spend about 10minutes reading through the listings and saying "crap....crap....crap..." & maybe highlighting the few programmes worth watching or recording if i'm going to be at work.

I am the same as you as in seeing alot of rubbish programs that they put on over the Christmas season i think they always put alot of repeats on as well. There are a few good programs they are going to have on.

I haven't bought a TV guide in nearly forever because first there was a weekly guide in our Sunday newspaper so we used that because it was free with our subscription to the newspaper. Then, when they did away with that in our community, we switched over to digital cable and it has a guide feature on it so we were able to see what was on television that way. Therefore, it doesn't matter to me if it is Christmas or if it is just simply the middle of the year, I don't really see the need to have a TV guide.

I watch it on television, if I want it that bad a magazine isn't going to entice me that much. I like looking at the covers because they are pretty well done and sometimes they have good recipes in them but nothing I have to have. Once Christmas is over its over.

I have cable so I can save reminders on the tv that come up to tell me when things are going to be on. I also go to www.tvguide.com and can find all sorts of things on there. I love the way it is set up so you can check for a certain movie or tv show. It is great! I used to buy a tv guide and had a subscription. Their site is even better!

I save a few bucks and just just get the schedule on T.V. I may also join the sites of my favorite channels and get the weeks or months schedule in my inbox. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

I check out our guide on our Satelite Dish to see what Christmas shows are coming on. I own most of the Christmas movies on DVD and watch them whenever I want to. My favorite Christmas movies How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon version), Frosty the Snowman, Ruldolph the Red Nose Reindeer, the Muppet Christmas Carol and The Flintstone's Christmas. I do buy a Woman's Day magazine to see what kind of cookie recipes they have. This is the only time of the year I buy this magazine. I also look to see what kind of craft ideas they have and see if I want to try to make them.

I normally search on the internet or go on TV guide channel to see whats going to be on TV. Why spend money on something you can easily get for free?
